My Dad Is Not a Monster!

After I died, the underworld told me I wasn't meant to die yet and granted me a wish.

I'm only three! I can't even do addition and subtraction right, so of course I want to keep living with my dad!

What a simple wish. I'm such a good kid.

But... why does Dad look different?

Oh well, Dad can still toss me up in the air!

In the desolate wasteland of the apocalypse, soldiers at the base watch a child being thrown into a horde of zombies and can't bear to look any longer.

The next second, the child's laughter rings out. The lead zombie raises the child high without expression, and all they hear is the child calling him Dad.

On a remote planet, a three-year-old stands on tiptoe to pick through trash.

The next second, a riot erupts in the streets. A pack of monsters that escaped from a laboratory rampages through the area, but the child is the only one left unharmed, held high by a tentacle.

The bloodthirsty monster grows ever stronger. Someone bravely follows it back to its lair, hoping to find its weakness.

They expect to see corpses strewn everywhere, but what they find is the exact opposite:

Beneath the high walls, pink blossoms and green willows flourish. Butterflies dance among the flowers, and all is bursting with life.

The monster clumsily braids the hair of the child sitting on the swing, then coaxes the child to eat from a bowl...

It looks no different from a human.

[The sturdy castle is the last sanctuary the monster gives the child]

No one may disturb them
