A Top-Tier Star's Assistant's Slight Commitment to Professional Ethics

Yin Songshi got a job as a personal assistant to Yu Shang, a top-tier star in both film and music, through a referral. His diligent work ethic and clever way of handling things earned the unanimous approval of the studio staff. As a fan of Yu Shang, Yin Songshi has such a thick fan filter that he believes Yu Shang must be having a hard time in show business. He has to do everything he can to help him and give him the best, to repay Yu Shang for helping him in the past. As for the fact that he likes Yu Shang as more than an idol, he can keep that to himself. Yu Shang doesn't need to return his feelings. Besides, he absolutely can't let anyone know he's a fan of Yu Shang, or the studio will throw him out in an instant! He won't stay by Yu Shang's side for long, just one year, and then he'll get back to his normal life. But he never expected that while they were spending time together, he'd develop an inappropriate possessiveness toward Yu Shang. To keep himself from doing anything out of line, Yin Songshi lays down a list of rules for himself, doing his best to keep his distance from Yu Shang and not cross the line. Yu Shang likes his new assistant. Yin Songshi makes things easy for him, and wherever Yin Songshi is, Yu Shang feels at ease. But when he tries to spend more time with Yin Songshi, he discovers that Yin Songshi is deliberately keeping his distance. Yu Shang is displeased: an assistant should observe professional boundaries, but there's no need to observe all of them! * 1. Showbiz story, 1v1, happy ending.
