Even as a Shrunk-Down Furuya-kun, He's Still Working Hard

[Thank you for supporting the official version. Your subscriptions and support mean a lot to me! Love you all! Also, there's a surprise in the long-review section, hehe.] [Blurb] A database breach exposed Mr. Furuya's identity while he was undercover. Rather than let Gin, who had been planning to “exterminate the rats” for years, interrogate more information out of him, Furuya promptly snatched up a poison pill, swallowed it, and leaped into the shimmering lake. Though he'd seen Gin's face twist with rage, Furuya still regretted that he'd only managed to blow up one of the Organization's bases before getting caught. Taking poison feels great in the moment, then comes the aftermath... Right. After narrowly escaping death, Furuya was sent to Teitan Elementary School by his concerned superiors and close friends from his class, where he became an honored grade-schooler. Furuya: ...? Did something go wrong? His friends: Be good. You're only seven, after all. Going to school is your job. (Laughing our heads off.) Furuya (before starting school): ...?? Maybe listen to yourselves for a second? Furuya (after starting school): ...Matsuda, you were right. School really is a job... (sighs) His friends from various departments, now saddled with a lot of extra work: ... The all-knowing intelligence specialist, even when forced to become a grade-schooler, is still the most dedicated worker of all! (Men fall silent, women weep.) The close friends from his class, (un)willingly working overtime together, are so moving and touching! (Eyes brimming with tears.) (Tears streaming down our faces.) “The Grade-Schooler Workaholic Emperor and His (Reluctantly) Swept-Along Classmates,” coming soon! (Not really.) Top comment 1: How tragic! The Zero Unit leader, now a grade-schooler, is still hard at work today. (Overworked kitty crying.jpg) Top comment 2: You people are exploiting child labor so badly! This is simply too awful (wonderful) to bear (watch)! (doge) Top comment 3: I hear those four handsome classmates from the same graduating class are working overtime together again today! So dedicated! [Reader notes]: 1. The characters' personalities and broad original settings follow canon, but this is fundamentally OOC. The timeline has been heavily changed. The police academy squad didn't die years ago, so there's no need to save them; they're alive anyway. 2. Three years ago, after Hiromitsu was exposed, Rei saved him. Hiromitsu returned to the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department, and neither of them is undercover anymore when the story begins. 3. There will be multiple protagonists' perspectives. The main viewpoints will probably, hopefully, be the five-man group, Conan, and others. The plot takes priority. 4. Formerly titled The Shrunk-Down Zero-chan Is Working Hard Today, among many other titles. 5. Sorry, but I absolutely won't follow the new movie or any possible future canon about Kuroba and Kudo. The two families are not related as brothers. If that bothers you, please don't click in. 6. I'll try to update before midnight. Extra or catch-up chapters, if any, will be posted at midnight, sometimes as a two-chapter update. If there is no update that day, I'll post a notice. 7. The long reviews and featured reviews are currently a temporary fan-created brainstorming space run by a few readers. Don't miss them if you enjoy that sort of thing, hehe. 8. Please don't mention other authors' works under my story, and don't mention my works under other authors' stories, hehe. Kisses! [Completed works]: What?
