After Toko Was Bound to the System Gin

[I'm feeling mostly better now. I'll spend some time getting back into the swing of things and revising, then gradually try to resume updates.] Jiang Gu was reborn after the Black Organization was destroyed. In his new life, the world was on the verge of destruction, and the timeline was a mess. Not only had he awakened psychic powers, there was also a strange sword hovering over his head. Fortunately, he was bound to an amnesiac romance System. As long as he completed missions to unlock its features, he could save the world. But the System's targets... were all absurdly unlucky people! Target No. 1: An unlucky subordinate. Target No. 2: A certain Schrödinger's diluted liquor. Target No. 3: A promising rookie from the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's First Investigative Division. Target No. 4: A chuuni who refused to accept the Conan-style time loop and decided to kill Kudo Shinichi. There was also a certain FBI agent, a certain childhood friend, a certain workaholic from the distillery, and all sorts of bizarre side missions. While completing his missions, Jiang Gu discovered that the System wanted to date him! Zero: My lover is this country :) System: Ha, your lover is me :) The daily life of a certain public security chief who is "in love with his country" after being reborn: Save his classmates, deal with romance missions, take down the Black Organization, and protect his unlucky targets so they won't get ruthlessly stabbed in the back by his jealous System. Much later, Jiang Gu accidentally learned that the targets were the System's secret identities, and that he needed to help the System reclaim them and recover its memories. Finally, after going through untold hardships to reclaim the secret identities, Jiang Gu discovered that the System, now with its memories restored, was... Gin?! Reader's Guide: 1. The Red and Black factions remain unchanged. The amnesiac System, Gin, belongs to neither faction. After recovering his memories, he goes back to being the devoted big brother of the distillery. [With Gin and Toru on opposing sides, they'll overcome their differences in a strange (not really) way. The distillery will probably get a new boss.] 2. Zero's psychic ability is Newtype, from Amuro Ray in the Gundam series that inspired his character. 3. The missions are called "romance," but read as "best friendship." The System's amnesia is connected to its secret identities, but not every secret identity is the System itself. 4. CP: Gin. Secondary CPs: Double Black and the canon pairings. P.S. There's a separate story set in the same world featuring Double Black. All secondary CPs in this story are just in the background and won't get dedicated scenes. 5. A crossover setting with merged worlds: science-loving phantom thieves, supernatural ability users from Bungo Stray Dogs, and Kinghood Holders with giant swords over their heads. The main setting is the Detective Conan world, but the unstable merging of worlds will give rise to Yokohama scenarios, parallel-world scenarios, and all sorts of bizarre scenarios. [P.S. + Important 1]: Zero will happily fool around in a few scenarios that don't take up much of the story, while little Conan and the police academy group will encounter the truth about the world. [There will be NO plotline where the characters are reduced to a lower dimension!!!] [P.S. + Important 2]: Zero will become a Kinghood Holder. Based on the original setting for Kinghood Holders, Zero will become the "lover" of the country (the powerful figure pulling the strings behind the scenes). "Has Rei Furuya's Detective Conan Black Shop Closed?" [An ongoing derivative story with no CP. Check it out in my profile if you're interested.] Blurb: I, Rei Furuya, am "Zero," a reliable information broker. I'm in Tokyo, being hunted by some inexplicable organization, when I accidentally stumble into an urban-legend exchange shop. Rumor has it that if you pay a tiny little price that satisfies the shopkeeper, the exchange shop can grant any wish. Before I entered the shop, I thought it was an urban legend, some kind of supernatural ghost story. But... who knew it was a shady shop that forces people to buy things?! Rei Furuya, forced to become a shop assistant :) The little shop gets pitifully few customers, and the manager is always making bad deals. Rei Furuya, who'd planned to slack off and never work, sees no hope of retirement, so he decides to whip the workplace into shape himself. But his very first job turns into a huge headache :) He only spent a few hours investigating a customer's home, yet he'd already caught the attention of the elite police officer living next door, Hagiwara Kenji. After finally shaking off the troublesome Officer Hagiwara, he runs into him again while viewing cherry blossoms with the shady shop manager. This time, Officer Hagiwara has a menacing childhood friend and a six-foot-six buzz-cut man with him. For some reason, there are now two more people keeping an eye on him. Rei Furuya: Can't shake them off. Buy one, get two free. Fortunately, the shady shop manager has been targeted too. After the two of them shake off the three men, they run into a classic Tokyo murder case. There are three witnesses and suspects. Seemingly innocent Suspect No. 1: Rei Furuya. Seemingly innocent Suspect No. 2: The shop manager. Seemingly innocent Suspect No. 3: A black-haired, blue-eyed young man with stubble. A few seconds later, Hagiwara Kenji and his two cherry-blossom-viewing buddies join the deluxe suspect package. Seemingly innocent Suspect No. 4: Elite Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department officer Hagiwara Kenji. Seemingly innocent Suspect No. 5: Elite Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department officer Matsuda Jinpei. Seemingly innocent Suspect No. 6: Elite Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department officer Date Wataru. Now there are six suspects. Excluding Rei Furuya and the shop manager, and excluding the three troublesome officers, that leaves one guy nobody knows. So who's the killer...? Seemingly innocent Suspect No. 3, Morofushi Hiromitsu, whose suspicion level is rising by the second, slowly types a question mark.
