I'm Not a Whiskey, I'm an Evil God

[Next up: the upcoming novel About Gin Picking Up a Famous Detective] My name is Mochizuki Shin. I have the Yin-Yang Eyes and a constitution that attracts ghosts. Evil spirits have harassed me for years, and my body is gradually becoming more like them. So I learned to pretend I couldn't see them, and successfully became a man with one expression. (.) By chance, I picked up a silver-haired, green-eyed man. The problem is, we've become completely connected: we share sensations, injuries, and even death. :) To keep from dying because of the silver-haired man, I brazenly brought him home. After all, ordinary people couldn't withstand the harassment of those evil spirits. To save myself, I bound myself to a manga System. I had to become a popular manga character to exchange for survival items. The System gave me two choices: an elementary school student surrounded by evil spirits for a hundred miles, or a blond guy whose coffee shop had only three ghosts. Even an idiot would know what to choose, so I tidied up and went to work at the coffee shop. ** On my first day at work, I ran into a murder case. [He doesn't even bat an eye at a murder. This new character's got something going on. I'll blindly bet on him being a real member of the Organization. He seems so cold and heartless... especially that close-up of his eyes!!] Near closing time, Mochizuki: I have to go home and cook for my cat. Toru: I have a dog, you know. Toru: Speaking of pets, remember to get them spayed or neutered at the right age. It gets troublesome when they go into heat. Mochizuki: ...Oh. I don't think that's necessary. Probably. Maybe. Toru: So, are you going to let it mate? Mochizuki thought of the silver-haired man at home. No, I think he'd get pretty angry. [He looks so cold and heartless, but he has a cat? What a gap!] [He might not be a real member of the Organization after all. The new character seems pretty kind-hearted.] When the manga updated to show the new character's home, readers finally saw what the so-called little kitty was. The comments exploded in an instant... [Help, am I seeing this right? That's Gin, isn't it? It's not some twin brother of Gin's, is it?] [666, this guy's the real hero, calling Gin a little kitty. (Eyes shaking in shock)] [Living with Gin. My brain's stopped working.] "Please note" 1. Gin is the pairing. This will probably be a romance-focused story. 2. One-on-one pairing, and very much an out-of-character story. 3. This may lean toward cosmic horror. It tells various supernatural and ghost stories. The main plot?? Has long since run away... Here's the blurb for the next novel, About Gin Picking Up a Famous Detective. Gin, a famous villain, the only hard worker at the watered-down Organization, and the moonlight in countless people's hearts. To change his fate, everyone's resentment gave rise to the [Villain Rescue Forum]. He was bound to the Forum just as he was about to die. However Gin (who's actually an undercover agent): Him?? A famous villain?? After meeting the shrunken Conan Forum: [Rescue Gin? Absolutely! Shinichi has turned into Conan. Great chance, take him out!] Gin: No, I need to save him. That way, I can "repay" the Organization. Forum: [Terrifying! As expected of Gin, what a brilliant plan. He's taking it all the way to killing the body and breaking the spirit, turning Conan to the dark side and making him suffer!] Gin: ...Heh, what a vivid imagination. After Scotland's identity is exposed and he defects Forum: [Not only is Scotland a Japanese police officer, Bourbon is with the Japanese Public Security Bureau, Rye is FBI, Kir is CIA, Mary is MI6, and Vermouth is a double agent!! The Organization is finished!!] Gin: Yeah, I know all that. I'm undercover too. After the entire Whiskey group defects Forum: [Conan is terrifying. We absolutely can't let him live! He must have helped them!!] Gin: No, I did it. Gin and Conan are an unstoppable team. They effortlessly deal with the Whiskey group, leaving Gin just one step away from the Boss's position. Conan (with his memories intact and still remembering the original story), wearing an expression of anguish: They didn't... die?! No, Gin must have his reasons for doing this. He must be planning to use me! Maybe he already knows I'm pretending to have amnesia and is trying to test me!! Forum: [Aww, as expected of Big Brother! He even got Conan to clear out all those undercover agents for him!! He's found himself a powerful ally! Incredible!! Gin's decisions are always right!] * My name is Edogawa Conan. I'm an elementary school student, and I have a mysterious guardian named Kurosawa Jin. Apparently, he's the son of my mother's brother-in-law's uncle. He's looking after me while I undergo treatment for amnesia. But what he doesn't know is that I remember everything. I know the whole world is a manga, where Kudo Shinichi was knocked unconscious by Gin, turned into an elementary school student named Conan, and eventually destroyed the Organization Gin belonged to with help from countless undercover agents before returning to his original form. But... setting all that aside, I get along with him... okay. I believe there's only one truth: Gin absolutely cannot be an undercover agent. To find out why Gin adopted me, and to destroy the Organization, I've decided to pretend to have amnesia and stay by his side. Theme: A peaceful life is the best
