His childhood friend, who hadn't been to school in ages, was sitting behind him, inviting him to play soccer with the soccer club after school. Shinichi had suddenly shown up at school, abandoned a case, and was going to the soccer club?! Hayami Asuka thought his childhood friend was acting strange, so he pulled out his phone to privately message him [Congratulations! Final reward: a grand prize package (including a permanent time-reversal ticket).] Looking at Shinichi's message proving he was out solving a case, and the System window that had suddenly popped up, Hayami Asuka fell silent. Something about this world seemed... off! His phone was also a little too strange. He could even contact his childhood friend from the original world? Hayami Asuka: Shinichi, tell me how you'd commit a crime. Red Shinichi: ? Later, he discovered that Shinichi wasn't the only person he could contact. He could reach other people from the original world too. Once they learned this was a world where the Red and Black Factions had switched sides, they offered him this advice Amuro: How do I deal with myself? That's a little tricky. But maybe you could start with Akai. Beat him up first? Akai: No. I suggest you stay far away from me, preferably at least 700 yards, or you might die. Shinichi: You'd better act natural, or I don't think you'll make it to dawn. Ran: Ah... well... Asuka, be careful and stay away from the reversed version of me... Sonoko: Exactly, exactly! Ran's so strong, and what if Black Shinichi gets jealous... Pfft, Black Shinichi! Hahahaha! Hayami Asuka: I'm done. Let the world end. [See the afterword of Chapter One for reader advisories.] "About Gin Picking Up a Famous Detective" Gin, a notorious villain, the only hard worker in the watered-down Black Organization, and the dark moonlight in countless fans' hearts. The resentment of countless people who wanted to change his fate formed the [Notorious Villain Rescue Forum]. He was bound to the forum just as he was about to die, but Gin (who is actually a mole): Him? A notorious villain? After meeting the shrunken Conan Forum: [Rescuing Gin is our duty! Shinichi's become Conan, so this is our chance. Take him out!] Gin: No. He needs to save the kid so he can "repay" the organization. Forum: [Terrifying! As expected of Gin, what a brilliant idea. He's taking it to the next level: killing the body and destroying the mind, making Conan turn to the dark side and suffer!] Gin: ...Heh. You've got a wild imagination. After Scotland's identity was exposed and he defected Forum: [Scotland is a Japanese cop, Bourbon is with the Japanese Public Security Bureau, Rye is FBI, Kir is CIA, Mary is MI6, and Vermouth is a double agent! The Black Organization is doomed!] Gin: Right, I know. I'm a mole too. After the entire Whiskey Trio defected Forum: [Conan is terrifying. We absolutely can't let him live! He must be the one who helped them!] Gin: No. I did it. Gin and Conan make an unstoppable team. They effortlessly take down the Whiskey Trio, leaving Gin just one step away from the Boss's position. Conan (who hasn't lost his memories and remembers the original story), wearing a pained expression: They didn't... die?! No, Gin must have his own reasons for doing this. He must be planning to use me! Maybe he already knows I'm pretending to have amnesia. He must be testing me! Forum: [Aww, just as you'd expect from the big brother! He even had Conan clear out all those moles for him! He's found himself a powerful ally! Amazing! Gin's decisions are always right!] * My name is Edogawa Conan. I'm an elementary school student, and I have a mysterious guardian named Kurozawa Jin. Apparently, he's the son of my mother's brother-in-law's uncle. He's looking after me while I receive treatment for my amnesia. But what he doesn't know is that I still have my memories. I know this whole world is a manga, where Kudo Shinichi was knocked unconscious by Gin and turned into an elementary school student named Conan. In the end, with help from countless moles, he successfully destroyed the organization Gin belonged to and returned to his original form. But... putting all that aside, I get along with him... well enough. I believe there's only one truth: Gin absolutely cannot be a mole. To find out why Gin took me in, and to destroy the organization, I decide to pretend I've lost my memory and stay by his side. Theme: Life has love and miracles.
