[Complete] [Here's a little preview of an upcoming story: A Scientific Life from Scratch Thank you all for your support!] --------Blurb below-------- The Scientific Life is a large-scale sandbox virtual reality game. Players can choose all kinds of careers, genders, living environments, and more that are completely different from their real lives, and experience a different life. It's an incredibly popular game. Even Zero, who had never been interested in games, was hooked after trying it once. In the game, he had a childhood friend who had grown up with him. After they both got into the police academy, they also gained three incredibly close friends. The five of them shared a dorm room, bickering and fooling around every day, and occasionally running into cases. Life couldn't be any more eventful. His only complaint was that it would be nice if his four friends stopped looking at him like they thought he was crazy. My name is Morofushi, and I'm a first-year student at the police academy. I have a childhood friend who grew up with me, as well as three close friends and fellow students who share my dorm room. With the help of those four, I successfully overcame the childhood trauma that had haunted me. I thought I'd spend the next four wonderful years at the police academy with them. But then I realized my childhood friend's condition had been getting worse and worse. (Solemn, serious face) Kei, Matsu, Hagi, and Hagiwara: (heartbroken) Zero!
