[Drill A] Baseball and Romance

[The Yuuki Arc is complete, the Kuramochi Arc is in progress] Aoki Riko hates Tetsuya Yuuki more than anyone. Here are a few reasons: 1. He works so hard she can't slack off without feeling guilty. 2. He's terrible at shogi and doesn't even realize it. 3. He stole the top spot in her little brother's heart. 4. All he ever thinks about is baseball. And so on. Everyone has known since they were kids that she and Tetsuya Yuuki don't get along. No one knows how much she likes him. Yes, she's all talk and no bite. Even though she's hailed as a shogi prodigy and can beat her childhood friend in three moves, she still can't tear his attention away from baseball. So how could she not hate him?! But she never knew that Tetsuya Yuuki had always liked Aoki Riko, and had never said a word because he thought she hated him. Note: Tetsuya Yuuki is the love interest. They have mutual unrequited feelings. The heroine is a prickly, tsundere mess. Don't read if that's not your thing, and please don't offer writing advice. [The Kuramochi Arc] To Yoichi Kuramochi, Sumire Shimizu, the middle-school discipline committee member, was an incredibly, incredibly annoying person. Uptight, too serious, inflexible, cold, and always getting hung up on things. He could come up with a hundred things wrong with her. So when he left his hometown for Seido High School in Tokyo, Yoichi Kuramochi felt like a weight had been lifted. Only once in a while, just once in a while, he would hear that cool, serious voice in his ears. All right, not once in a while. It was often. When the transfer student was introduced, he even thought his eyes were playing tricks on him. Otherwise, how could he possibly be seeing Sumire Shimizu? Sumire Shimizu had never lied in her life, except about one thing. She had someone she liked, and he was a delinquent. Theme: Hard work never lies.
