The Canine Boyfriend

The wolf pup and the puppy: one is outrageous, the other is hopeless.

Wolf Pup Arc:

The first time the boy saw that man, he was only eight. The man was a rising star at the peak of his fame, fifteen years older than the boy, wearing a silk robe.

Ten years later, the boy had grown into a teenager, and his father had dumped the man he had grown tired of.

That day, the teenager grabbed his schoolbag and ran out in a frenzy, searching the whole city. For the first time, he called and messaged the man himself. Once, the man's posters had been all over the city. Now, everyone had forgotten him.

At last, the man picked up. He told the teenager he was packing his things in his rented apartment and heading back to his hometown. The teenager took a cab there. The apartment door was open. Amid the mess, the man sat on his suitcase, softly humming as if reminiscing about the brief time he'd spent at the height of his fame.

"What are you doing here?" The man suddenly turned around and spotted the teenager in his school uniform.

The teenager still clutched the torn silk robe in his hand. He stormed in, then collapsed against the man's shoulder as if his neck had snapped, crying.

"I thought you didn't want me anymore..."

Puppy Arc:

The CEO has a secret no one knows... He's intersex. And five years ago, he got drunk at a party and had a one-night stand, but the other person ran off the next morning.

Five years later, his daughter is already four, and the CEO notices that a new junior employee at his company looks just like a grown-up version of his daughter.

"Why did you run away after sleeping with me back then?" the CEO demanded.

"I..." the junior employee replied earnestly. "I had my college entrance exams."

A few notes:

* The CEO is intersex, but not at all weak. He's very strong.

* After the movie star in the Wolf Pup Arc and the teenager's father break up, there's no entanglement or lingering ambiguity. They part completely and cleanly.

* The teenager and the junior employee were high school deskmates. The Wolf Pup Arc and Puppy Arc take place five years apart. Both are adults when their respective romances begin, and all intimate scenes occur when they're adults. No underage content.

* This story started as a few scenes I wrote on a whim, so the first few chapters are more like an outline. The writing gradually becomes more detailed.

Premise: There's no difficult job, only brave doggos!
