Roommates

The worldbuilding is being revised, and the blurb isn't finalized. Readers who mind, please don't add this to your list~ Jing Xiangdong is a once-popular paranormal streamer. After suffering from a lack of inspiration for half a year, he decides to return to his hometown, happily farm with his grandmother, and look for inspiration. But soon he sees villagers with pale faces and bizarre behavior, his grandmother going out to farm only at night, the shrill wailing of a woman he hears every night from deep in the mountains, two muddy footprints that mysteriously appear when he walks alone by the river, and the feeling of being watched from everywhere at midnight... Jing Xiangdong is convinced that he's imagining all of it. That's just how vivid a paranormal streamer's imagination is! Absolutely! After spotting their family's urn of ashes move yet again, Jing Xiangdong tenderly pats it and wonders aloud if a chicken might have gotten inside, since it can move all by itself. Urn of ashes: ???? Finally, after adopting a little black puppy, Jing Xiangdong encounters something he can't explain. The puppy lies at the head of his bed, paws tucked under its chest and eyelids drooping as it sleeps. "Idiot, there's a ghost in the urn watching you." Jing Xiangdong looks terrified and pulls the blanket over himself. "Aaaaaah!! A one-month-old puppy can talk!!" Puppy: ... Isn't that the wrong thing to be afraid of? Theme: Do your work well, and be a good person
