The Ghost Raiser

[Everything may change based on inspiration before the story begins.] Zhao Xunchuan first met Yan Li by the mass burial pit of 32,900 people, sacrificed to ghosts. Head bowed, he hummed a nameless tune in fits and starts as he tucked a malformed finger bone into the earthen jar he carried. "Captain Zhao," someone beside him said, "this is the notorious ghost-raiser." "Be extremely careful... He's already killed four guardians." "Mm." Zhao Xunchuan looked away and replied coolly, "I know." "Don't worry." Heavy, thick chains wound around his arms, their ends fitted with coldly gleaming knuckle guards. The air was thick with the stench of blood. "I'll be the last one." The others had been ordered to keep watch. His duty was to execute. · By the burial pit, Yan Li carefully put the lid on the earthen jar, then looked up. A wind that smelled of the dead blew past, stirring his dark hair. Silver ornaments jingled. His pointed lower face had lush, vivid lips, red as if he had been drinking blood. He looked at Lu Xunchuan in the distance and thought... Such a fine body and such a beautiful face. Just perfect for feeding my ghosts. Tip: 1. Zhao Xunchuan x Yan Li (li) 2. Their overwhelmingly powerful mutual attraction is locked in. No splitting them up or reversing the pairing. Theme: None for now.
