Murder the Script (Infinite Flow)

The blurb is subject to change, so if that bothers you, read at your own risk. The worldbuilding is set! Pang Qishui is a newly established murder-mystery game scriptwriter. His scripts are exceptionally good and exceptionally difficult. He's one of the best-selling writers on a murder-mystery game sales site, and whenever a new script goes up, clients snap it up in no time. Soon, his murder-mystery games are set to be adapted into escape-room games and launched in major cities across the country. But on the eve of the launch, this rising star of a scriptwriter starts frantically trying to stop his scripts from being turned into escape-room games. No one listens to him. The games launch right on schedule. Pang Qishui discovers that any player who enters an escape room and fails to clear it simply disappears. Their disappearance is so complete that every memory and trace of their existence is erased from the entire world. But no one around him realizes these people are gone. Pang Qishui is the only one who remembers them. He goes crazy trying to stop his games from launching, but no matter what he does, some greater force seems to be stopping him. Pang Qishui wants to enter the game and stop everything, but the rules of the escape rooms say that, to prevent spoilers, scriptwriters can't enter the scenarios they've written. He can't get in. In despair, Pang Qishui opens a novel he wrote a long time ago for his own amusement, based on real life and his murder-mystery games. Staring blankly at the protagonist he'd created to be so powerful that he could kill gods and Buddhas alike, with the ability to shatter any murder-mystery game, he says, “If only you existed...” And then the protagonist really appears. Overjoyed, Pang Qishui tries to control the protagonist he created and make him save everyone. Protagonist: “You damn idiot of an author. You ruined my character. I'm not saving anyone.” Pang Qishui: “...” Basically, a murder-mystery game scriptwriter creates a hot-tempered, infinite-flow protagonist, then tries to get him to save people. But the protagonist won't do it because it would be out of character, so the writer has to come up with all kinds of plot points that let the protagonist save people without breaking character. He even ends up putting himself on the line, and despite all that, he nearly gets killed by the protagonist in a fit of rage. The word “screw” could also be used here. Theme: Perseverance in the face of adversity
