The Stargazer in Love with Matter

My name is Lu Ye. At the awakening ceremony on the Continent of Romance, the testing device registered nothing.

They said I was a rare Love Essence Null, with zero Love Energy, the most useless good-for-nothing on this continent that lives on the energy of love.

Other people's heartbeats appear as dazzling motes of light, secret crushes as wisps of blue mist, and mutual devotion as gilded sparks. As for me, I have eyes that can tell whether Love Energy is real or fake.

Beneath the aura of the genius girl adored by everyone lies false affection, forcibly produced by her talent. The wasteland wanderer is wrapped in a heart-corroding miasma left behind by shattered bonds. And behind the laws trusted by the temple priests lurks a harvest fueled by countless sincere hearts.

While everyone else cultivates Love Energy and pursues bond contracts, I alone can see that the Continent of Romance was never born for love.

Love should not be a resource to sustain the world, and sincerity should not be defined as energy.

And I, an aberration with zero Love Energy, will rewrite every rule about love on this continent with my own hands.
