Time: 2242. Humanity has established an interstellar colonial network. Background: In the Abyssal Frontier star sector, humanity discovers the Attica, an alien civilization with unique biotechnology. Tensions erupt between the two sides over resource extraction and differences in their worldviews, and the Peacekeeping Force's Seventh Fleet is dispatched to the region on a mission. Protagonist: Lin Mo, 32, a major in the Interstellar Peacekeeping Force. He lost comrades during an Earth counterterrorism operation and was transferred to a border fleet due to psychological trauma. He specializes in tactical command and intelligence analysis.
