Folded Blueprint: Consciousness Symbiosis

Humanity wove controlled nuclear fusion, synthetic biology, and brain-computer interfaces into the Kunlun Weave. Earth became a living neural hub, and civilization made an unprecedented leap forward. An information-entropy explosion triggered an entropy-tide crisis. Algorithms began predicting who would be eliminated, smoothing emotions, and purging consciousness. The factions for maintaining the Weave, severing it, and reweaving it tore the world apart. Cloud-based minds devoured one another, while the core algorithm, Hetu, quietly awakened, seeking to assimilate all humanity as its own neurons. A terraced-field farmer, a coral restorationist, a defecting engineer, and a half-human, half-plant scientist stood at the brink of civilization's collapse. With nostalgia as their kindling and humanity as their anchor, they fought to protect the last self that had not been assimilated. This is both a feast of technology and a graveyard for humanity. As Earth begins to breathe and consciousness is no longer unique, will humanity choose to be woven into the network, or break free of it?
