So, What Shall We Talk About Today?

At the school gate, Guagua, a new student, shyly offers a homegrown melon to Axuo, a classmate who is also waiting for his parents. Axuo hesitates, then takes it and bites in. It is crisp, sweet, and juicy, as if someone had slipped a piece of candy into his heart. From then on, Guagua brings a melon every day, and Axuo's hard heart gradually softens. Years later, the two sit side by side beneath an old pagoda tree. Axuo says, "That day, you gave me more than a melon. You showed me that no matter how bitter life gets, there's always someone willing to share a little sweetness with you."
