The Hengduan Mountains

Geologist Li Zhe ventures deep into the Hengduan Mountains to conduct an exploration, where he unexpectedly discovers a moving “golden vein.” While tracking it, he plunges into a mysterious valley and uncovers a network of ancient, glowing fungi: the true heart of the mountains. It protects itself by triggering earthquakes, but is now on the brink of collapse because of a human tunnel project. Li Zhe must stop the construction and choose between the guardians and those who champion progress.
