Pandas on Lucky Days

Deep in the forest, a national treasure named Bamboo Bear lives a lonely, melancholy life. One day, the cheerful Bamboo Rat falls from a tree and lands right on top of him. Bamboo Bear gets an idea and pretends to be injured, demanding that Bamboo Rat bring him food every day. In truth, Bamboo Bear is just lonely and wants a friend. The optimistic Bamboo Rat, meanwhile, thinks meeting Bamboo Bear is a stroke of good luck. From then on, he visits every day, learns what Bamboo Bear likes, and keeps him company as he comes out of his sorrow and makes new friends. With Bamboo Rat's daily warmth and companionship, the aloof Bamboo Bear gradually lets down his guard and learns to care for his friend, too. It turns out that the best healing doesn't come from being told what to do, but from having someone who wants to see you every day.
