The Stationery Shop of My Childhood

Mao Jing, an office worker who refuses to follow her parents' arrangements, suffers one setback after another and is forced to return to her hometown to take over her father's stationery shop. She hates the little shop that holds her childhood nightmares: her classmates once mocked her with a nickname based on its name, while her father always treated every child with kindhearted patience. Mao Jing only wants to sell the shop, but instead finds herself matching wits with the children who love it. As she spends time with a student who is often bullied, she happens to discover how her father once let children buy things on credit to protect their self-esteem. She also reunites with her childhood playmate through the records on an old game console. In the end, she chooses to keep the stationery shop, full of precious memories, and pass its goodness and warmth on to more people.
