The Sunshine Collector

Mom was taking clothes in from the balcony when three-year-old Xiaomi pointed at her hair and asked, "Mom, your hair fell off. Is it expired?" Mom pulled out a white hair and showed it to her. Xiaomi examined it seriously, then said, "It's okay. The sun made the sky turn dark, too." That afternoon, Dad complained that the fat on his belly made him look too heavy. Xiaomi patted his stomach and said, "This is proof that your mom loves you." Every innocent thing a child says is the world as they first see it: they don't fuss over what is "correct," but stay true to what they feel is "real."
