The portrayal of Baochai in this book is completely dark. She is restless. She is even more unwilling to be taken as a concubine and ranked behind Daiyu. But some readers won't be satisfied if they don't accept it, so at most it's just an outer room.

To be honest, this book is really well written, far better than most Red Mansions fans on the market. The characters have distinct personalities, they fit the original work, and the plot is interesting. The only thing that cannot be accepted is to fall in love with Yingchun. It's not like the Concubine God Cult, where concubines are inferior to others. First of all, the Jia family is destined to fall. The Jia family has offended the emperor, and the emperor will eventually attack the Jia family. Marrying Yingchun is going against the emperor. So how can Li Weijian make progress? The whole family traveled three thousand miles with the Jia family? And Yingchun's father, Jia She, is greedy and tyrannical. He will sell Yingchun to Sun Shaozu for five thousand taels of silver. If they really get married, and Li Weijian is a gentleman on the surface, what will Jia She do if he sucks blood? Among the three springs, Yingchun is the most pitiful, but also the one I dislike the most. Daiyu said that Yingchun "tiger and wolf are stationed in the palace, and there is no talk of cause and effect." She is too cowardly. The servants do not treat her as a young lady and steal her jewelry to gamble. She swallows her anger and hides to read the chapter on the Supreme Being's induction when something happens. I was so angry at the original novel that it made my teeth itch, and I still had Ermumu who didn't know what was good or bad. Are you useful to her? The head of the house is extremely poor at housekeeping. She is also ignorant, weak-tempered, and incompetent. She is only suitable to marry into a small family and find someone with a good temper or who can protect his wife. One maid and one mother-in-law is enough. At this time, her weak and incompetent character has become an advantage. The lady does not put on airs, is gentle and virtuous. So, let her be a concubine. As a real mistress, Hongyu and Qingwen are enough for her. The most suitable mistresses in the Grand View Garden are Xiangyun and Daiyu. They are both concubines, and the "thorn rose" Tanchun character is much more lovable.
