[Western Crossover] Kamen Rider, but a Batkid

It wasn't until he was sixteen that Sakaki Yashumori learned from his mother that he didn't actually have heterochromia. He was Japanese-American, and his biological father was none other than Gotham's notorious playboy, Mr. Wayne. As a Kamen Rider, Sakaki Yashumori bore the heavy responsibility of bringing the Limit Battle to an end. He had planned to stay quietly in his hometown and avoid troubling his birth father. But as the best English speaker in the entire institute, he was still dispatched to Gotham by Senior Tachibana to handle liaison and cooperation with the Justice League. Sakaki Yashumori: Haha! I'm so screwed! Clark came from a chaotic world. His spaceship hadn't landed on a Kansas farm. It had fallen from the sky into the heart of Metropolis. He was soon taken away and confined in a laboratory, where he remained for years. He didn't know why he had been born or what purpose his existence served. All he knew was that one day, someone took him out of the laboratory. When he opened his eyes, the boy smiling at him told him that he was free. From that day on, he had to find meaning in his life. He would fight for the freedom of more people. An evil organization appears in New York. A white monster, risen from the dead, walks beneath the moon in Gotham. Rumors of the Swamp Man grow ever more widespread, and strange sounds come from the mirror... But the heroes will change all of this and bring people a brighter tomorrow. The Dark Knight: What do you mean, the world rebooted because a high school student in Japan didn't get into the college he wanted? Does that even make sense? (← This will not happen in this story.) A few things to know before reading: This is a Kamen Rider and Western Crossover story, and it should be a fairly lighthearted comedy. As usual, the protagonist is a powerful, beautiful, and blessed-with-a-happy-ending type, so feel free to enjoy! Q: Do I need to catch up on Kamen Rider if I haven't watched it? A: You can if you want, but you don't need to. It won't affect your enjoyment, since the main story is original Western Crossover content. At most, a few monsters will make guest appearances as supervillains. Q: You said this is Kamen Rider, but you haven't said what transformation Sakaki Yashumori uses. A: Sakaki Yashumori has two transformations. One is an original form based on Agito's Burning Form, and the other is an original form based on Blade. It's fine if you don't understand the details. His powers and stats will be shown in the story. Q: I'm a character fan, so I really need to know: is the protagonist friendly toward canon characters, especially all the superheroes? A: He's friendly toward the superheroes. The Justice League and the Batfamily get along harmoniously, though he may make the occasional Batman-level joke at a superhero's expense. As for supervillains... that depends, but he's definitely not as friendly toward them. Q: Who is the pairing? A: Flashpoint Superman. A superpowered person gets locked up for experiments, then comes out and fights crime. Good grief, this is so Kamen Rider! (Is it?) Q: Are there any side pairings? A: I won't break up the main universe's canon Superman and Lois pairing. I won't write any other pairings, but I won't stop readers from shipping whoever they like. That's just how Kamen Riders and superheroes are: they call each other brothers and then leap into each other's arms... And over the past two years (Two years? Ten years!) Kamen Rider actors have been coming out in droves, to the point where they've run out of energy to insist it's not gay... (Come to think of it, more Kamen Rider leads have come out than superheroes, right...?) (When I wrote this, that sweet confession hadn't happened yet. But that's just how Kamen Riders are. In short, it's a story about you liking me and me liking you.) Q: What will the story mainly be about? A: In general, it's a comedy about fighting monsters and falling in love, with all kinds of misunderstandings along the way. You could probably call it a broadly defined everyone-loves-the-protagonist comedy. (The comedy really is the main thing.) Q: Is there anything else I should know? A: Sakaki Yashumori is an extremely overpowered, arrogant little brat (?) and a neurotic cow cat. If you find yourself cringing so hard your toes curl while reading, take three deep breaths and carry on. The author accepts no responsibility for any scenes that might make readers cringe. Here's a preview of my upcoming story. It's already started, and I'm updating according to the rankings. "[Western Crossover] Struggling to Survive in Gotham Without My Superhero Filter" In short, just like the beginning of any clichéd novel, I transmigrated, and I landed in Gotham. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that, unlike many transmigrators before me, I didn't lose my memory or wind up in an orphanage, and I don't have to struggle to keep food on the table. The bad news is that I was incredibly busy before transmigrating, so I barely had time to read comics. I only know a few famous names that everyone recognizes. And the even worse news is that after transmigrating, I found myself in a family of the ultra-rich old-money elite. A superhero comic, but I'm ultra-rich old money. No matter how you look at it, I'm not going to be one of the good guys. Sure enough, when I grew up a little, I learned that my family was part of the upper echelon of a secret society called the Court of Owls, which secretly controlled Gotham and committed every evil imaginable. Haha, I'm screwed now. The superheroes are bound to beat me around like a spinning top! I had two plans for my life. I would do my best to stay out of the family business, so I wouldn't get tainted with its do-every-evil-imaginable buff, and when I got the chance, I'd get out of there and settle overseas. Deep-state conspiracies, secret societies, superheroes... None of that has anything to do with me! I'm just an ordinary guy trying to get by! When my whole family ends up in prison, I'll burn joss paper for them from the outside! But neither of my plans worked out. I got bound to the family business, I failed to get away, and I even started supporting a super-pretty (emphasis on pretty) young reporter. I was assigned to study medicine, and now I work at Gotham General Hospital. I also help the GCPD by managing the coroner's work, all to help the family business thrive... And then, at long last, I finally got a powerful golden finger. But this golden finger is called the "Superhero Comic Filter Remover." Just as the name suggests, it removes the superhero filter. More precisely, it has one active ability and one passive ability. The active ability lets me designate a living being and make it obey the laws of physics in the world I came from before transmigrating. It doesn't matter whether that being has superpowers, but the more powerful its abilities are, the shorter the effect lasts. The passive ability is that the world before my eyes also loses its so-called "superhero comic filter." Haha, I would've been better off without a golden finger! Is Gotham without its superhero comic filter supposed to be a nice place to live? I don't want to see giant robots everywhere! A few things to know before reading: 1. The main story is told in third person, with a male protagonist who takes the lead in the relationship and is paired with Superman. It's about being a doctor, a coroner, and an ultra-rich magnate in Gotham. But the author isn't a coroner, doctor, or rich person. All information is based on relevant literature, popular science sources, and Baidu Baike. I'll try to be academically rigorous and note sources in the author's notes, but for the sake of the plot, it definitely won't be all that realistic (sorry). 2. There are lots of dark jokes, which may not make you laugh, and plenty of stereotypes. Some things are based on personal hearsay and don't represent the real situation in Gotham. I like to make things up, so please don't take this entertainment product as fact. 3. The Court of Owls setting is a complete mash-up. If anything doesn't match what you know, just consider it my own headcanon. 4. I don't currently plan to bash the superheroes, though their characterization is also influenced by the classic "Behind the Scenes at the Editorial Office" trope. I'll make sure that most of the time, any jabs at the superheroes are aimed at the editorial office, and I'll treat their morals and abilities with respect. As for the supervillains, leaving those guys around will only make rice more expensive. JPG 5. I'll add more if I think of anything. Premise: Fighting to protect everyone's freedom
