Zhu Qianqiu transmigrated into a book, only to become a sword.
And not just any sword, but a notorious demonic sword.
He lived a thrilling, eventful life through the long years, until he met a miserable little sword cultivator.
After being forced to become the young cultivator’s bonded sword, he discovered that the person before him was actually the book’s future biggest villain. The villain would go on to court death time and time again, only to be slain by the protagonist in the finale.
And what happens to a villain’s bonded sword?
Naturally, when its master dies, the sword is destroyed too, joining him in the grave!
Zhu Qianqiu: ...
Damn it all.
2,
To save himself, Zhu Qianqiu started doing his best.
At first, he tried to reform the villain and awaken the goodness in his heart. Then he discovered that this little madman had no heart at all.
So he had no choice but to wreak havoc, switching sides to stop the villain whenever he fought the protagonist. He became one spectacularly rebellious sword.
The villain hated him so much his teeth ached. He routinely threatened to toss him back into the forge and remake him, but the bonded-sword contract left him unable to do anything about it.
After years of this, Zhu Qianqiu still couldn’t escape his fated ending:
Evil would never triumph over good. The protagonist would eventually kill the villain, and everyone would live happily ever after.
Beneath a rain of blood, the villain’s hair spilled loose like a waterfall, blood trickled from his fingertips, and his beautiful features looked as bewitching as a vengeful ghost.
Even on the brink of death, he didn’t forget to argue with Zhu Qianqiu. “The thing I hate most in this life is being tangled up with a lousy sword like you until the bitter end.”
Zhu Qianqiu laughed in exasperation. “You think I wanted this?” I’m a lousy sword, but you’re a lousy person!
The protagonist advanced step by step. The bonded sword in the villain’s hand suddenly hummed, then self-destructed to shield its master from the final blow.
At his ear, the sword spirit’s voice broke apart and faded away:
“As you wish, we’re even now.”
The sword shattered, its soul scattered, and there was no answer.

After faking his death and opening his eyes again, Zhu Qianqiu found that three hundred years had passed in the mortal world.
Reborn as a pitiful young man from a cultivation family, he was about to be sacrificed by his clan and sent to Baiyujing to become the adopted son of the Supreme Immortal Venerable.
This should have been an incredible opportunity.
The problem was that the Supreme Immortal Venerable was capricious, cold, and cruel. His previous adopted sons had all died one after another.
In private, people said he had “a murderous addiction to killing his sons.”
Worse still, on the day Zhu Qianqiu met the Immortal Venerable, he looked up and found himself staring at an achingly familiar, handsome face.
It was none other than his mortal enemy from his previous life, the book’s villain who had hated him to the bone.
Zhu Qianqiu: “...”
Oh no. This is a father-son setup!
Could anything in the world be more absurd than waking up as your mortal enemy’s beloved son?
Remembering just how badly he had offended this man in his previous life, Zhu Qianqiu quietly clutched his secret identity close, trying to stay alive while plotting another escape.
But as he kept his head down, he suddenly realized his mortal enemy seemed to have changed.
“?”
Zhu Qianqiu was baffled and tested him again and again.
Until that night
A cage of gold and jade confined him to a tiny space, silver chains coiling around his wrists. The culprit approached from the darkness, step by step, with a chill that wound around him like a snake.
“A sword belongs in its sheath.” The Immortal Venerable smiled at him with an unsettling tenderness, his voice soft and low. “Don’t you agree, Qianqiu?”
Zhu Qianqiu’s vision went black.
“Once the dust settles on the words ‘we’re even,’ all that remains is a struggle to the death.”
A two-faced, unhinged top x a dramatic bottom who’s barely alive;
Each other’s one and only, happy ending.
A committed one-on-one pairing. No switching the top and bottom, adding anyone between them, splitting characters, or similar claims.
PS: As for why the top didn’t die along with the bottom when he self-destructed, the only way to break a life-and-death pact is for one party to sacrifice themselves willingly and of their own accord.
A tale of obsessive, tangled lovers who won’t stop until one of them is dead, with a bit of a dark, possessive vibe.
They hate each other until they end up in each other’s arms, then dig up old grudges while getting intimate. That sort of bickering little couple =v=

Pre-release: After Abandoning My Aloof Little Sword Cultivator
1,
Li Shu, crown prince of the Ghost Clan, was gorgeous and noble, extravagantly indulgent, and used to having his way throughout the Netherworld.
Whatever he wanted, he could get with a crook of his finger. There was just one wish that had remained unfulfilled for a long, long time.
He wanted to keep a person.
A living person, and one pleasing to the eye.
Preferably someone dressed all in white, carrying a cold sword, aloof and otherworldly like an immortal banished from heaven.
But the living couldn’t enter the Netherworld. After holding back for years, the Crown Prince finally couldn’t stand it anymore and sneaked into the mortal realm.
Risking execution, he spent days waiting outside the Sword Sect’s mountain, inspecting the sword cultivators who came and went. He was sorely disappointed.
They said the sword cultivators from the immortal mountain were all extraordinary and handsome, but to him, they were nothing special.
Just as he was about to head home, a flash of snowy white suddenly entered his view.
Li Shu stopped and slowly widened his eyes.
Well, would you look at that.
It has to be him!
2,
Shen Zhaoyue, the Sword Sect’s chief disciple, had gone missing.
He had left on a mission and never returned, with no word from him at all. The entire sect was frantic, searching every inch of the land for him.
No one knew that Shen Zhaoyue had been haunted by a ghost.
The ghost was strange. It had used a trick to capture him, but instead of drinking his blood or devouring his flesh, it fed him well and looked after him... force-feeding him.
Shen Zhaoyue remained unmoved and asked coldly, “What do you want?”
The other grinned. “You.” Then he reached out and pinched Shen Zhaoyue’s cheek.
Shen Zhaoyue: “...”
Shen Zhaoyue had planned to find a chance to kill Li Shu. Later, he thought he could let him stay, as long as Li Shu behaved and didn’t cross the line.
Li Shu was a little annoying, but he wasn’t bad by nature. Maybe he clung to Shen Zhaoyue because he was lonely.
Li Shu was a little noisy, but sometimes the things he said were pretty interesting. Now and then, Shen Zhaoyue would turn his face aside and curve his lips in a restrained, miserly smile.
Li Shu said he was a lonely wandering ghost who couldn’t remember where he came from, so Shen Zhaoyue thought he would look for his origins in his spare time.
He had heard that once a wandering ghost found the place where its bones were buried, it could finally be freed. After seeing Li Shu off, Shen Zhaoyue could enjoy some peace and quiet too.
But before that time came, Li Shu suddenly disappeared.
The little ghost who had once kept saying how much he liked Shen Zhaoyue, smiling with his eyes curved, had abandoned him without hesitation and without even saying goodbye.
Shen Zhaoyue got the peace and quiet he had longed for. He thought he should be happy about it.
But for some reason, it felt as though a piece of his heart had gone missing.

The Netherworld fell into turmoil, and Li Shu rushed back to clean up the mess. By the time everything had settled, several years had passed in the mortal world.
The former Crown Prince had become the King of the Underworld. Burdened with heavy responsibilities, Li Shu could not get away. His entanglement with that young sword cultivator from his time in the mortal world had faded into an absurd, beautiful dream that visited him only now and then.
Li Shu heard that the immortal mountain had a new master, and that someone known as “the best in the world” had appeared in the mortal realm, using a single sword strike to pacify the Demon Continent. His next target was the Netherworld.
Li Shu sneered. “Let him come. Who’s afraid of him?”
Li Shu waited for the man to show up, and waited and waited, until at last he received... a marriage proposal?
Li Shu, who had been ready for a fight, was instantly dumbfounded. With trembling hands, he opened the letter of proposal, and his vision went black as the world spun around him.
The immortal mountain proposed an alliance through marriage with the Netherworld, asking King Li Shu to marry the master of the immortal mountain
Shen Zhaoyue.
A quietly unhinged widower (?) sword cultivator x a ghost scholar who loves to flirt but can’t read the room
