[Western Crossover] The Possibility That Batman Has Kryptonian Blood

This was an excuse to write a story for the sake of a plot hook, with no outline and no backlog. My attempt failed, and I didn't manage to make the dumplings either. What a waste of a good idea. Hiding my face. I don't think this can be salvaged. I'll unlock it after the three-month period.

The SuperBat biological brothers premise from The Dark Knight Strikes Again has been heavily altered. I'm only using the brothers premise; it has absolutely nothing to do with the plot of The Dark Knight Strikes Again.

Some unknown villain causes trouble, and the villains in Arkham unexpectedly get in touch with their counterparts from parallel universes. They gather excitedly to discuss how to torment Batman.

Riddler from Universe A: Easy. Fill the city with riddle trophies. Batman's obsessive-compulsive tendencies will make him collect them, greatly slowing down his crime-fighting.

Riddler: That won't work. Our Batman is really fast, so it wouldn't slow him down much. And he isn't obsessive-compulsive. If the trophies aren't dangerous, he mostly ignores them.

Riddler from Universe A: Outrageous! Is that even Batman?

Scarecrow from Universe A: Capture Batman and inject him with fear toxin. The more, the better. Then savor his fear.

Scarecrow: No use. Our Batman is immune to all fear toxins. He can inhale the stuff like sleeping gas.

Scarecrow from Universe A: That's Batman?

Joker from Universe B: Kidnap Batman's Robins and blow them up right in front of him. Watch Batman drown in grief.

Joker: No effect. Our Batman has no Robin and doesn't have any sidekicks. He works alone.

Joker from Universe B: ?

Bane from Universe C: Defeat him, then break his back!

Bane: Tried it. I ended up with a shattered knee.

Bane from Universe C: If you're going to lie to me, at least come up with a better excuse.

The discussion gets so outrageous that the parallel universes don't believe this is Batman. They casually make something up: Your Batman isn't afraid of anything. Get Superman from Metropolis down here and have him be Batman.

The Arkham gang, in unison: No way. Whatever he is, he's our Batman. You don't have a Batman this powerful. You're jealous.

Arkham from the parallel universes: Fine, fine, we're jealous. So how are you going to torment this fearless Batman?

Arkham: Let's get some Kryptonite down at the docks. Our Batman seems afraid of it.

Arkham from the parallel universes: Is this Batman or Superman? The guys from this weird universe must be high. They can't even tell Superman and Batman apart. Throw them out.

The Arkham villains work together to get hold of Kryptonite, ready to teach Batman a big lesson.

Batman: How did you know I'd just overcome that weakness?

Batman smiles. Arkham screams. Once again, the Arkham fan club fails to torment Batman today.

As the title suggests, Batman is half-Kryptonian, with maxed-out defenses. Ordinary methods can't get through his defenses at all. He's the child of the Waynes, but his body also carries Lara's genes, making him Superman's maternal half-brother. The reason is explained in the story.

A few completed DC-focused Western crossover fics:

"Batman Calls Me Dad": A blended family of Flashpoint parents and Batmen from the multiverse, a big, satisfying family reunion.

"How Do I Deal with Becoming the Batman Who Laughs?": No outline, just gritting my teeth and making things up. I managed to tie it all together, so that's one more completed fic.

"Gotham Daydream Collection": A collection of various short stories and jokes.

"[Western Crossover] Best Partners": The Batman Who Laughs x Superman Who Laughs, surreal and unhinged fiction, aiming to corrupt every reader into laughing maniacally with bared teeth.

Theme: A loving family gives you boundless strength
