[Western Crossover] How Do I Snap My Corrupted Old Man Out of It?

[This story is set in a fictional alternate universe] Gavin Bruce Kent, a second-generation superhero, was originally a character who appeared only as a fertilized egg on the last page of a comic in the single-volume edition of Heaven's Descent. In theory, he should have grown up slowly in the Wayne Manor in Gotham, on the farm in Smallville, or on Themyscira in the Atlantic, becoming as exceptional as his parents, whether human, god, or alien. In short, he shouldn't have suddenly come out to a stranger, been given the surname Superman, aged up by ten years to eighteen, and made leader of a superhero team with no leader. But after drawing nine Green Lanterns from twelve blind boxes, things inevitably took a turn for the worse. Gavin didn't go on a work trip to space. He went on a work trip to another world! So that's how the mysterious applicant with fifteen years of work experience, despite having only just graduated from college, came to be? What deranged author sends an eight-year-old kid to save the world? Bruce's dad didn't start working at eight, either! After headbutting Red Son Superman, stomping Injustice Superman, elbowing Red Death, and physically reforming all the alternate-universe dads with a series of difficult maneuvers, Gavin has become a bona fide superhero who can take on the Batman Who Laughs all by himself... hasn't he?
