[Western Crossover] Batman Calls Me Dad

Don't worry about the update symbol. The author is fixing typos. Leave a comment to point them out, and the author will correct them when there's time. Good news: Gotham's famous orphan has parents! Bad news: His dad is a dual-wielding Batman, and his mom is the Joker. In a nutshell, the childless Flashpoint Waynes travel through different worlds to bring warmth to orphaned Bruce. Flashpoint: Pretty angsty. The loving family falls apart, and the bereaved couple torment each other. Arkham: The Knight, after causing a huge mess, tells Bruce sincerely, “Old man, you might not believe this, but I get along pretty well with your parents. Of the three of us, I'm the most normal one.” Lego: Too angsty. Let's do a fun arc to heal a little. Injustice: Don't go around throwing your weight around just because you're Superman. The parents of an orphaned victim might show up and beat you up good. Earth-3: Owlman, the most dutiful son. Main universe: Thomas claps Matches Malone on the shoulder and says happily, “Young man, I really like you. When I'm gone, I'll leave the gang to you!” Flashpoint finale: Bedtime stories teach us that after overcoming hardship and danger, the heroes will eventually live happily ever after. Five Bats gather at the door. Five Bats get together. Five Bats join forces: “We should do something for Thomas and Martha.” Parents want their children to have a better life, and the children want the same for their parents. They save each other and find redemption together. Please note: A generous helping of nonsense and self-inflicted angst, with fanfiction elements. Some related details and timelines have been adjusted. Chapters 1–6 were originally written with a transmigrator protagonist, but the setup was later tweaked. Thomas now dreams about his previous life (in which he watched DC movies). This minor change doesn't affect the later plot, but does lightly spoil things for Thomas and lets him learn about Batman's origins, creating dramatic tension. Chapters 1–6 are in first person; all later chapters are in third person. It's listed as romance because Thomas and Martha's canon relationship can't be ignored, though there's not much romance. Might as well plug some completed novels and upcoming stories while I'm at it. Completed novels: “Little Brother's Bizarre Adventure,” a JoJo fanfic. Always bring a healer to a team fight. “Wild Ultraman and the Ultimate Life Form.” It's not that well written, but at least I finished it and put it up to fill out the list. “How Do I Deal with Becoming the Batman Who Laughs in a Western Crossover?” No outline, just gritting my teeth and making it up as I go. One more finished work for my track record. Ongoing: “Gotham Daydream Collection,” a collection of various short stories and jokes. “[Western Crossover] Best Partners,” the Batman Who Laughs x the Superman Who Laughs, for some crazy fiction. Theme: Heaven helps those who help themselves
