It's Hard to Raise the Winery Heir

She lived in an orphanage until she was seven, when the Boss of the distillery "found" her and told her to her face that her surname was Karasuma.

Tino: "..."

A successor, my ass. She was clearly meant to be a future test subject, the next Vermouth.

Another day she didn't want to live.

The Boss sent someone to her.

Looking at the silver-haired, green-eyed boy Gin,

Tino: "..." What the hell?

No one would care what she wanted, so she had to find a way to make Gin fed up with her and have him ask to leave on his own.

She started making Gin's life difficult.

She made him kneel at her feet to greet her, paint her nails, dry her hair, cook for her, and read her bedtime stories...

But Tino was the first one who couldn't take it.

First, she wasn't a sadist. Tormenting people didn't make her happy.

Second, forming close relationships with others felt unsafe to her. She didn't like being touched.

She gave up tormenting him and talked things over with Gin. His only job was to keep her alive until she was old enough to take the Boss's place as a test subject. There was no need for him to stay by her side every second, right?

But, absurdly, the one being tormented refused to accept that.

Gin began taking the initiative.

Tino was always sleepy because of her health problems.

When she woke up again and found herself in Gin's arms, she finally lost her temper and slapped him.

She thought, How could Gin not dodge that?

But he really didn't dodge. He even smiled.

And the next time, he did the same thing again.

No, he went even further.

Tino: "..." Enough already.

Every time she tried to get herself killed, Gin responded by keeping an even tighter leash on her.

A few undercover investigators even tried to save her.

One moment, Tino was giving up: Do you even remember I'm the distillery's heir?

The next, Tino was forced to do sit-ups: Please stop trying to save me! The closer you get, the crazier he gets! And the crazier he gets, the more danger you're in!

Even after the Organization fell, Tino still couldn't escape the world.

There was always someone who refused to let go of her.

Tino: I'm tired. I might as well keep living.

[GIN]

The person he chose as his master didn't want him.

So he had to take the initiative and clasp the chains around her wrists.

She needed to be kept in the light, but he didn't have any.

He could take it by force.
