Can Singing Make Me Fall in Love with Hiromitsu?

At first, Uno Aoi had no idea she was in a world of deductive science, though the name of her best friend, Yumi Mizuki, sounded familiar. As for her career, if Yoko was everyone's idol, then Aoi was everyone's singer. One reason she was so popular was that her singing could amplify people's emotions. For example, her soothing, relaxing songs really could comfort people. The Metropolitan Police Department even gave her an award, praising her voice for saving many people who had been on the verge of suicide. Everyone called her Aegle. So when she was kidnapped and, in her panic, sang "When it's time to act, act!" to the police and detectives, well, it was understandable, right? Everyone else: "..." No. Not at all. But the effects of her ability were limited. No matter how much she sang "Hajimari no Uta" at Gin, he wasn't going to turn into a "sweetheart"... Ahem. = As for how the romance began... She attended an event discreetly to help Yumi Mizuki, only for a KissCam to start up at the venue. When the camera landed on her, she quickly turned to face the hooded man beside her, hoping he would hide her face. It was just a camera angle trick. As luck would have it, Morofushi Hiromitsu thought the same thing. He was undercover at the time, and the last thing he needed was for his face to appear on the big screen. So he could only apologize to the woman beside him in a baseball cap. He'd just angle himself away from the camera. And so... The two of them, both trying to "angle themselves away," eagerly leaned toward each other and accidentally... shared their first kiss. Uno Aoi: Oh no. Morofushi Hiromitsu: Oh no. = "There are rumors that Aegle's voice is insured for an astronomical amount..." "It's true." Aoi tilted her head back and let Officer Morofushi caress her neck. In a hoarse voice, she laughed and said, "It's fine. I chose this. You don't have to pay me back." --------[Reading Guide]-------- 1. Lighthearted, no concern for logic.
