Kuroko’s Everyday Life in Beika Town

[Upcoming story: Everyone I Catch at the Black Organization Is an Undercover Agent. Blurb at the end.] Blurb: Kuroko had always had a very faint presence. At twenty-four, a job transfer brought him to Beika Town. Aside from the daily barrage of cases and the endless overtime, everything was wonderful. Until one day… His boss: “Tetsuya, with your knack for this, it’d be a waste not to make you a liaison. I’ve got an undercover agent who needs one, so you’re on the job!” “He’s the same year as you, too. What a coincidence!” Kuroko didn’t have much to say about it, and handled all his liaison duties admirably. The only issue was that the undercover agent kept getting startled by him. * Morofushi had a one-man liaison who could appear and disappear without a trace. When they exchanged information, the documents would suddenly appear. When they protected witnesses, the witnesses would simply vanish. And whenever he took a reckless risk, any traces he left behind would be silently erased. If his boss hadn’t given him the liaison’s file, Morofushi might have thought he was hallucinating! Later, on a rooftop, his undercover identity was exposed, and Morofushi finally got a proper look at his liaison, who no longer vanished into thin air. The blue-haired, blue-eyed liaison brought down someone with a vicious whack right in front of him. Morofushi: “Wow.” Furuya, who arrived a moment later: “Whoa!” (Thumbs up) ×2 1. Everyone’s relationships are platonic. Friendship in the spirit of Jump is the best! Kuroko’s low presence gets a Detective Conan-style boost. (Though it seems pretty Detective Conan already without the boost, doge.) 2. Mainly Detective Conan. The other members of the Generation of Miracles don’t appear much and are only mentioned in bonus material. 3. Original characters will appear as needed for the plot, on both the good and bad sides. 4. Still haven’t figured this one out. The blurb was screenshotted and saved on Weibo on 2024/04/09. [Upcoming story: Everyone I Catch at the Black Organization Is an Undercover Agent] Watanabe Chikae is the captain of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s Special Assault Team. After successfully completing an emergency rescue mission at the Public Security Bureau’s request, during which he went undercover, he found himself caught in an endless cycle of undercover agents. The assault team spends its days on the front lines of counterterrorism. After lying in wait for a long time, Watanabe Chikae finally caught a member of a transnational criminal organization. The next day, the CIA showed up to take him away, saying he was one of their undercover agents. Watanabe: Okay, let him go. The second time, Watanabe Chikae learned from his mistake and caught a member of the organization’s operations team. The very next day, the FBI showed up to take him away. “Hello, please release him. We’re all on the same side!” Watanabe: Fine. The third time, Watanabe caught the trusted right-hand man and boyfriend of the organization’s number two. Overcome with emotion, Watanabe, who cried uncontrollably when upset, escorted the handsome blond man he’d fallen for at first sight to the interrogation room, tears streaming down his face. Surely there was no way it could go wrong this time! · After unexpectedly dating the target he fell in love with at first sight, Furuya realized that all the mysteries around him seemed to involve his boyfriend. For example, his fellow recruit with flames over his head. And the organization’s boss, who seemed to be a baby with a pacifier hanging from his chest. As his boyfriend became more and more entangled with the organization, Furuya steeled himself and decided to arrest him. But when Furuya closed his eyes and opened them again, he found himself handcuffed and sitting in an interrogation room at the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He hadn’t been able to beat his boyfriend. Furuya: “…” Furuya: “???” Wait, shouldn’t the person in handcuffs be someone else?! Theme: Even the faintest light is still light.
