A Mafia Nobody Wants to Become a Beika Police Officer

What ideals might a mafia family of nobodies have?

1. Faithfully serve Sicily by following the Godfather.

2. Spend every day squabbling with groups of similar size.

3. Leave Sicily and become a righteous police officer.

One ambitious mafia member: Can I have all three?

-

Enma belongs to an obscure mafia family in Sicily.

At seventeen, encouraged by his friend Tsunayoshi and several senior police academy students, he decided to apply to the police academy and become an officer.

Through Tsunayoshi, he met several senior mafia members working undercover in the police force. They all had different reasons for becoming police officers, but each followed their ideals and loved the work they did.

Enma was deeply moved.

Even as the danger level in Tokyo rose exponentially overnight, all sorts of trouble suddenly cropped up around him, and he even witnessed a high school student turn into an elementary schooler... he still worked incredibly hard, holding down jobs for both the Tokyo police and Sicily.

Enma: I don't regret my decision... I just wonder if I'll live long enough to get promoted again (closes his eyes).

Reader's guide:

0. Happy ending, and the police academy group all get saved.

0.5. In light of how the plot has developed and readers' suggestions, this story is now also tagged as an ensemble cast.

1. This story contains many original elements, and some original characters appear as the plot requires. A few canon het pairings will appear, including a little 2795. Everyone may interpret the characters differently, and OOC moments are inevitable. I apologize in advance.

2. The author is a 51 fan. This is a self-indulgent story written to keep myself going. Some readers may dislike the Inheritance Ceremony arc, but please don't insult him.
