Oda Sakunosuke, Writer from Hell

[This novel will be released as a paid title on October 5. A 10,000-character update will be available then. Thanks for your support~] My name is Oda, and I'm 23 years old. I live on Goldfish Avenue in the underworld, work under Lord Hozuki, and also serve as director of the Underworld Anecdotes Editorial Office. I'm about to be dispatched to the living world to investigate an international criminal organization called the Black Organization. I don't smoke, and I only drink in moderation. Before bed, I write for half an hour. I've heard people privately call me Pigeon-no-suke, but I've never let other people's prejudices change my mind. I'm just taking a break from publishing so I can think things through. How is that being a flake? *The main story is told in third person. Contains original headcanons. OOC warning. [Oda's Investigation Log] Week One: The citizens of Tokyo are very sharp. They saw through my disguise right away, and I couldn't even fool the elementary school kids... I hope Lord Hozuki approves my request for a publishing break. Month One: I joined the Black Organization. Everyone's been very kind to me, but work is progressing slowly... I hope my request for a publishing break gets approved. Month Three: There are so many undercover agents infiltrating the organization... I hope my request for a publishing break gets approved. [Bonus scene: "Hey, why would Lord Hozuki send you to handle such a dangerous mission?" asked a colleague, unable to understand. He'd always thought of Oda as a literary type. Oda: "Probably because I'm a professional." After all, in his previous life he'd been the top assassin in the underworld, lived on the streets, joined a gang, and proven himself more than capable at his job. "A professional? You mean at missing deadlines?" His colleague burst out laughing.] Theme: Dreams always come true.
