Blurb at the very bottom The Zenin family had finally produced a child who inherited the Ten Shadows Technique. But before they could properly raise him, they realized something seemed very wrong with the boy. No matter how they trained him, he was hopeless at physical combat. He had talent, but there was no bringing it out of him. Under the Six Eyes' scrutiny, the boy, who had been forced through intense high-pressure training, was diagnosed as having a "Heavenly Restriction." The boy traded away his physical strength for unparalleled "wisdom," the kind that could see through every truth at a single glance. "I don't want to be a jujutsu sorcerer. I want to become the greatest detective in the world!" the black-haired boy said childishly. Beside him stood a white Divine Dog that looked like a wolf, summoned from the shadows. The Six Eyes user watched the Ten Shadows Technique wielder, who should have been his equal, and fell into deep thought after realizing the boy really did just want to slack off and waste his talent on becoming a detective. Watching the various shikigami get tamed with ease, everyone else fell into deep thought too. But was there something odd about these shikigami? There was only one white Divine Dog, and it looked like a wolf. Nue was obsessed with wrapping himself in bandages and even tried to drown himself. The two snakes always came as a pair and were extremely close. Then there was Round Deer, with its unconventional reverse cursed technique. Those were strange enough, but why could the standard Ten Shadows Technique summon a white tiger with razor-sharp claws? Besides those, there were the Rabbits, who loved sneak attacks; the Toad, who liked wearing glasses; and the elephant, who had immense strength but loved raising animals... Looking at the strange shikigami surrounding the boy, everyone couldn't help exclaiming, "This is a whole zoo!" "My surname isn't Zenin. It's Edogawa. Edogawa Ranpo," said Edogawa Ranpo, the greatest detective, now acknowledged by everyone. The genius boy would rather solve cases and become the world's greatest detective than exorcise curses. Watching the two of them, who had joined the Six Eyes user in overindulging in sweets, their classmates could only sigh. Note: The protagonist is Ranpo, and his ability is the Ten Shadows Technique. The shikigami he can summon are the other members of the Detective Agency, each with their own ability. No couples. All relationships are familial or friendship-based. [Special Grade Cursed Spirit in the Book of Friends] [Blurb]: Natsume had a Book of Friends that kept getting thicker. But one day, several names suddenly appeared on pages that had been blank. These names didn't look like the names of yokai. They seemed more like human names. Natsume wondered if they belonged to people his grandmother Reiko had known, aside from yokai. To uncover the secrets Reiko had left behind, Natsume and Nyanko-sensei set out to find these people. Their search crossed time and space, taking them to other worlds The people whose names were written in the Book of Friends had all died, becoming special grade vengeful cursed spirits who followed him around. Natsume decided to return their names. Thus began his journey to help the special grade curses understand their wishes and break their curses. [Special Grade Cursed Spirit One: The Heavenly Restriction Tyrant] The tyrant's wish was to find the young son he had left behind when he died. When his wish was fulfilled, he smiled in relief. "He doesn't have the Zenin name? That's wonderful." [Special Grade Cursed Spirit Two: The Red-Scarfed Ghost Who Jumped to His Death] The man, who called himself a leader, had a strange ability. Whenever he touched a yokai, it would involuntarily revert to its true form. Nyanko-sensei: "That's why this guy is the worst!" [Special Grade Cursed Spirit Three: The Cult Leader in a Five-Striped Robe] "Well, knowing that Gojo is doing all right is enough for me, but I can't forgive the curse that used my body," said the black-haired man with narrowed eyes and a smile. Natsume looked anxious. "Wait, Geto, you're just a soul right now!" [Special Grade Cursed Spirit Four: The Red-Haired Man Who Calls Himself a Killer] At first, Mr. Oda had no sense of who he was. He only knew he was searching for something. With Natsume's help, he finally remembered his identity. By then, the Detective Agency member who had been following them in secret for a long time finally showed himself. "Ah... Dazai. It's been a long time." "Odasaku..." They gazed at each other from afar, unable to touch because of the ability No Longer Human. The journey wasn't easy, but luckily Natsume had the Book of Friends, which let him summon friends in other worlds. The journey was also deeply meaningful. He witnessed so many people and events, and gained so many family members and friends Theme: The world is in chaos, but we move forward together
