The Scriptwriters Play House

[Daily updates at 9 p.m.] The year he became a Port Mafia executive, Rampo received a book. It told him he would become the world's greatest detective, but he was already in his Nth year as a member of the Mafia. He had been a spy, witnessed a war between two countries, and served as the Mafia's second-in-command, the man right below the boss. Yet the book said he was the famous detective of the Armed Detective Agency. And the Agency's members really were familiar faces. There was a healing-type ability user he'd befriended, as well as a bodyguard he'd met before, who had promised to protect him. Some details in the book were completely different, though. For instance, the colleague who defected to another organization, and the story's great villain, the Demon, had once been people he'd shared a table with. They had been family, but had gone their separate ways many years ago. Rampo was no different from the great detective in the book. If there was one difference, it was that he didn't need to be armed. [The great detective needs to be armed], but he was a Port Mafia executive, an ability user known throughout the organization for excelling at both brains and brawn. Under the book's influence, he met the famous detective surrounded by admirers. The two stared at each other, wearing the same face while doing completely different things. When the other Agency members saw this, chaos erupted: “Emergency! What do we do if another Mr. Rampo joins the enemy organization?!” After returning to his own world, Rampo defected without hesitation. After finding all those familiar faces one by one, he clutched his chest and declared, “I need armed protection!” The newly established Armed Ability Agency was made up of top-tier ability users, and held an important place in the Three-Part Framework. All the Agency members knew that Mr. Rampo needed protecting. They silently agreed to look after this childish adult, until the disaster that hunted down every ability user arrived. After every possible means of fighting back had failed, Yokohama sank into an unprecedented despair. At that moment, Rampo, who had always claimed to be an ordinary person, stood atop the Moby Dick. “You have three minutes to think it over, Fyodor.” The disaster supposedly meant to destroy Yokohama was actually a meeting of the plotters. Three old friends stared at each other and traded accusations. “Fyodor! If you're going to fake your death, don't come home for dinner!” “Agreed.” Looking at the two of them together, the Demon who had orchestrated everything curled his lips. “I came to join this family, not break you two up.” [Notice]: Pairing: Dazai x Rampo /Rampo has an ability and is a private take who excels at both brains and brawn.
