The Otherworldly White Moonlights Recruited by Hozuki

The Great King of Yama in the Other World is feeling gloomy because his assistant has taken paid leave, and gone with the Heavenly Divine Beast he hates most!

"Another world, huh... Damn it! I want to go too!!"

The black-haired, blue-eyed undercover agent, temporarily handling the assistant's duties, speaks gently. "Great King of Yama, because you overate and got a stomachache, the underworld trial was delayed by three days. For the next week, you won't be allowed to leave the judgment platform except to eat."

Great King of Yama: "...Why have you turned into a workaholic too?! Is it contagious?!"

The sadistic assistant, feared by everyone in the underworld, looks at the new species before him, who calls itself a demon. His pen flies across the page as he takes notes. "It seems immune to both heat and cold, and has an extremely strong regenerative ability. We've found zero-cost labor for building houses in the Eight Cold Hells."

"Aaaah!! My hand, the demon bit my hand! How long are you going to just stand there?!" A headband-wearing man nearby grimaces and flails his arm, trying to shake off the strange thing clinging to it.

The former Red King, whose soul has lingered for some unknown reason, is stopped by two strange young men.

The bruised man in a white coat looks excitedly curious. "Wow! Just like us! A Heaven-and-Hell duo."

The black-haired, red-eyed young man calmly sips his milk tea and pins him to the ground with his foot. "Would you be interested in taking a job in the underworld?"

The underworld assistant, dragging along a disobedient divine beast who keeps hitting on young women, looks at the scene before him and speaks in a low, even voice. "Public places aren't suitable for bondage play, especially not a threesome."

The unscrupulous teacher, with both hands restrained, grins wildly. "You... don't seem human!"

As usual, the suicide maniac jumps into the water, only to be violently lifted out and hung upside down.

"Given how tenaciously you cling to life, it'll take years before you can die."

What a vicious curse.

The drenched, black-haired young man smiles, though the smile doesn't reach his eyes. "So, what do you want with me?"

"To go to Hell with your friend."

Pairing: Gui and Bai

Before you read:

1. Same underworld, different worlds, with the plotlines interwoven.

2. I like writing in flashbacks. If something doesn't make sense at first, it'll be explained later.

3. Other than the main pairing, all other relationships are friendships.

4. Romance on the company's dime.

Theme: Life goes on
