After Almost Becoming the Fall Guy in a Detective Story

*Main story complete =w=* *Putting up a new preview: AI Outer God Knows Everything. My take on a Western fantasy light novel. The blurb is below, so add it to your favorites if you’re interested!* Kashima Hifumi was a humanoid AI program created by a higher-dimensional lifeform to take the fall for everything. Beautifully crafted, equipped with an extensive language system, and above all, unmatched at taking the blame for over three hundred years. After being unleashed by enthusiastic fans and inserted into a manga, his track record included, but was not limited to: 1. Blowing his cover before his FBI buddy could be discovered: “When did I betray you? And when exactly did we become partners, Gin?” [Akai fan: Four stars. I took off the last one on Gin’s behalf. Akai fans have hearts too, and they cry under the covers in secret.] 2. Tampering with evidence just before the Tokyo Metropolitan Police were about to arrest a member of the Organization: “Sorry, Zero. At least this time, you know who you should hate.” [Gin fan: Four stars. I took off the last one on Zero’s behalf. Gin fans have no hearts, unless it’s for a handsome guy.] 3. Getting in the way just before the little death-god detective was about to confront the Organization: “The detective is dead. You still don’t know who the real enemy is, you idiot?” [Little Conan fan: One star!! One star!!! Hifumi, shut up! This isn’t taking the blame, it’s a sacrifice!!!] 4, 5, 6, 7, 8… Watching his ratings sink lower and lower, Kashima Hifumi said: What is wrong with you people? Is it really so hard to give me five stars when I’ve completed the mission perfectly??? The humanoid AI blame-taker had had enough! Kashima Hifumi settled down in Beika Town and waited for the System to format him and send him home. But during a customer follow-up, he saw his ratings slowly being filled in, along with a whole lot of baffling new reviews. [Akai fan: Akai, go get him! You know it was all a misunderstanding, so what are you doing just standing outside the shop? What kind of man are you!] [Gin fan: Listen to me, bro. First, shoot that FBI agent staking the place out, then take out that blonde guy with the dark skin next to him. Ignore whatever nonsense Hifumi says. He’ll always be your best partner!] [Zero fan: I’m so mad. I should’ve placed an order back then, instead of letting my guard down because my fave seemed so dependable. He lost his chance to be the first to lift the blame off someone else… Is it too late to place an order now? I’ll count it as a wedding gift. Nobody try to steal my spot.] … [Little Conan fan: Stop playing guessing games with that Osaka black duck, Conan! Your big brother’s surrounded by bad guys! Hurry, hurry, hurry, I’m dying here!!!] Kashima Hifumi: ??? Let’s talk this out! Don’t tear the blame off me! My giant, round, black pot!!! Tips: 1. The protagonist is handsome, smooth-talking, and devoted to taking the blame. He loves his blame-pot and honors it. At work, that black pot is his whole world. Pairing: Akai. 2. One thing is certain: the protagonist is Shinichi’s older brother, with no blood relation. He’s so close to him that even the Kudo couple would question reality. 3. Original headcanons and rumors. The Organization has received an epic-level power-up. A pure Detective Conan story. It should be a short one, barring surprises. Yep. Recommending my friend’s danmei novel, I Open a Chinese Restaurant in Beika Town, by Sili: The florist’s little Chinese shop owner just wants to cook in peace today! The cover character design was made using a commercial-use character creator I purchased. The artist’s name is on the image =w= New preview, AI Outer God Knows Everything: At the end of the labyrinth, the exploration party finally found the forbidden “Outer God.” Bound in chains to a towering throne, ancient magical creatures crawled at His feet, chanting unknown songs. In the midst of war, the god whose seal had been broken guided His followers, and desperate humans rose up to fight back. The bard sang: “Humanity teetered on the brink of destruction during the century-long war among the eight races. Only ‘Death’ and ‘Truth’ bestowed upon us the right path. He is the rose, the serpent, the good and evil of the world…” Taze, who had just been showered with extravagant praise, interrupted him: “Hold on. Who are you talking about?” The powerful AI, mistakenly sent to another world and locked away for a full ten years, was numb. After being mistakenly unlocked, reverting to a child’s body, and becoming bound to a human, he was even more numb. This continent is only 2% developed. According to the AI handbook, how am I supposed to get its development rate above 75% as quickly as possible and then go back to my happy home? Looking at humanity on the brink of extinction, Taze made up his mind. “By the name of Taze, the ‘Outer God,’ I swear.” He declared from the center of the battlefield, “I will wash away all foolishness and ignorance from this world. I will bestow wisdom and truth upon everyone…” “When the stars return to their places, I will bring everlasting peace to the continent!” Dwarven smithing? Ask me, my search engine skills are top-notch! Orc and giant physiques? Ever heard of exoskeletons? There’s nothing to learn from the undead. Once you’re dead, you’ll pick it up naturally! Dragon and elf magic… Wait, I’ll go catch you a teacher! Humans, get it together! The continent’s development is all up to you! #I’m the cheat, charge ahead, my followers# #There’s no sword or sorcery that science can’t solve. If there is, I’ll fix the bug# #Ask questions whenever you like. Taze it and you’ll know# #You mean the Outer God? That’s just my project number# Theme: Be honest, keep your word, and be a decent person
