My name is Tsushima Tachibana, and I work at the Beika Distillery.
Everything at the company is great, except there are too many undercover agents. You never know who to trust.
My boyfriend Bourbon, who's in the same organization, is smoking hot, but I don't have enough money to keep him.
So I have to use my boss Gin's card, which means I often get chased by bullets.
Life went on like that until a new member, Scotch, showed up.
He can shoot at the range and cook in the kitchen.
He can handle a minigun and play bass and guitar.
He's gentle and obedient, and he lets me use his card.
Why would I need Bourbon? I'll take him!
But he's an undercover agent.
And my job is to deal with undercover agents.
On the rooftop, the wind was strong, and Scotch looked panicked.
I held the gift I'd bought him with borrowed money in my left hand, and a gun in my right.
"Happy birthday, Scotch." Looking at him, alone and helpless, I asked, "How do you want to die?"

Later.
My big brother Dazai sacrificed me for the greater good, and my boss Gin forgot to save me. I was officially captured.
In a dark basement,
I was locked up beneath black walls and glaring lights, awaiting execution.
I haggled with the young man in charge of interrogating me. "Send someone more handsome, and maybe I'll tell you everything."
Just then, Scotch, who had long since been fed to the fishes, appeared at the door with a cake box.
"Happy birthday, Miss Tsushima." Looking at me, alone and helpless, he asked, "How do you want to survive?"

The Undercover Agent Who Was Too Outstanding
1
My name is Kira An, and I work at the Beika Distillery. My codename is... well, I don't have one yet.
To get ahead and stand out, I pestered my boss Vodka for work.
My boss had just left the bar. He waved his chubby hand and said, "If you've got the guts, go undercover in the Mafia."
So I did.
2
In the Port Mafia, I got together with the richest executive, A.
He died on the very night we filed our marriage registration.
Just as I thought my undercover career was over and prepared to leave with a huge inheritance, the Mafia boss found me and told me to take over my late husband's position as an executive.
So I became a Mafia executive.
3
Life in the Mafia was so happy, and the executives around me were all great.
But to get ahead and stand out, I pestered the boss, Mori Ogai, for work.
The boss was busy changing his granddaughter's (allegedly) clothes. Without looking up, he said, "Then go get me a business license from the Special Division for Unusual Powers."
So I did.
4
At the Special Division for Unusual Powers, I ran into my subordinate from the Mafia, Sakaguchi Ango, and also saw Distillery executive Bourbon, who's on brotherly terms with the Japanese Public Security Bureau.
Damn it, they're so outstanding that they completely outshine me!
When challenged, Sakaguchi Ango dropped the act: "I'm a secret executive at the Distillery. My codename is Beer."
Bourbon dropped the act too: "I'm the secret boss of the Distillery, and I'm going to make you my confidante."
My heart skipped a beat. My time had finally come.
So I worked even harder for the boss, and he was so moved that he offered himself to me.
But one day, the Distillery was wiped out. The surviving boss found me, the only other survivor. "The underworld isn't stable these days. I'm thinking of joining Public Security instead. At least it's a steady job. Come with me."
I was deeply touched. He was nearly starving himself, yet still wanted to take me along so I could eat. This man was dependable.
Later--
Damn it, Furuya Rei, who do you think you are, pretending to be the boss and tricking me? I'm going to have my brother Dazai kill you!
My big brother (expressionless): I told you long ago not to try to stand out. A peaceful life is best.
Theme: No matter what kind of situation you find yourself in, never give up hope.
