Hikaru's Meow-Meow Protection Plan

Fujii Hikaru is a man of few words, the sort who feels uncomfortable if he says more than ten words at a time. But one day, he was bound to a streamer System. [System: Sweetie, if you don't livestream for three hours every day, you'll be punished~] Livestreaming for three hours, talking for three hours... For a man of few words like Fujii Hikaru, this task was far more terrifying than the punishment. So he came up with a solution: he bought a cat from a pet shop. There's always a way around every problem! A pet streamer who stays quiet and focuses on showing off his cat for a hundred years! But his cat seemed unusually clever. It knew what food it liked, and even kept him company at night while he practiced communicating. Fujii Hikaru thought he'd struck gold, until he upgraded his System and saw the full barrage of comments from another world. # Aaaaaah, Keigo is so sweet, I can't take it! # Keigo really is such a sweetheart~ # Today I failed to quit both cats and sex! Fujii Hikaru, utterly baffled: ??? Keigo? Wasn't that his childhood friend's name? As he delved deeper and upgraded further, he discovered---damn, my childhood friend had actually become my cat! * Hiro thought he was as good as dead. But when he opened his eyes again, he'd turned into a cat. After finally getting used to life on four legs, he met Fujii Hikaru at a pet shop, where Hikaru had come to pick out a pet. If he had to be someone's pet, he might as well choose whose. So he did everything he could to become the cat of the childhood friend he'd once known back in Nagano Prefecture. When he's hungry, someone fills his bowl. When he's tired, someone gives him a massage. He can even go out with Hikaru and scare his perpetually sleep-deprived Zero. *Content warning: Hiro gets shaved! It's all Matsuda's fault! Why did he draw whiskers on Keigo in such a cutesy way?! (Just kidding.) *The cat will turn human later on. Theme: Animals are humanity's good friends. Everyone should take care of the furry little ones around them.
