Magic Invades the World of Detective Science

I've been busy with real-life matters lately, so updates will come whenever I can. Thanks to all the sweethearts who've been waiting for me! Please add my upcoming story, Where Are My Two-Legged Beasts?, to your collections! This story will go premium on Sunday, September 18. Thank you for your support, sweethearts! As a witch, you mustn't use magic in front of people. Witches mustn't cry. Those are the only two rules for witches I can remember. Ask my little sister, Koizumi Akako, for the rest. As for me, I'm a witch by profession, male by gender, currently attending police academy, and occasionally looking after kids. So my adherence to the witch rules is very much in Schrodinger's state. After all, even the magical world is making progress! Here's what happened. I think I flew on a broom right in front of my classmates. Can I still explain that I was cosplaying? Actually, I don't think I need to. My classmates put a cushion on my broom. They took it from the pillow of my blond classmate. Maybe I should find somewhere suitable to bury the witch rules. I'm Furuya Rei, and I'm living the police academy life I've been looking forward to for so long. I believe in science, until I see one of my classmates fly into the sky on a broom. There's a pillow tied to the broom, too. There's definitely something wrong with this world, isn't there? 1. The magic is based on the Magic Kaito setting, but there are lots of original additions. 2. Mainly family and friendship. Furuya is the pairing, but the romance comes later. I'll do my best, sob. 3. Saving characters from death. 4. No undercover work, no Black Organization, no amusement park. The protagonist is firmly Akako's. 5. More to come if I think of anything. Where Are My Two-Legged Beasts? Blurb: Aiseyelai is a dragon. “As the strongest beings on the continent, dragons deserve to have everything,” her teacher instructed her. The dragon swished her tail and set herself a lofty goal: Become the first dragon to raise pretty, adorable two-legged beasts, own a two-legged beast park, and be a dragon who has two-legged beasts! The young dragon set off on a career of finding two-legged beasts. Half-elves, demons... Deceived by the appearance of all sorts of nonhuman creatures, she brought these pretty little waifs back to her park, thinking they were two-legged beasts. Until one day Aiseyelai came to her senses and looked at her lush, thriving territory, praised as “the last sanctuary”: Elves: Dragons are worthy of the friendship of elves. Demons: We bow before your might. Merfolk: There should be a place for you in the deep sea. But not one of the creatures she brought home was a two-legged beast! Where were her two-legged beasts?! The human kingdom, which had not seen a dragon in ages: A dragon! A dragon! Let us go! Raise! A dragon! Theme: A happy life depends on everyone.
