When a Dating Sim Gets a Bug

[The blurb for my upcoming novel, “Will Sukuna Become a Hopeless Romantic?” is below. Thanks for adding it to your favorites!] Kamishiro Yayoi was tricked by the System into entering a dating sim with fake CG images. The game has three routes: [King of Curses], [Star Religious Group Leader], and [Six Eyes Prodigy]. His role is different in each route. A sacrifice offered to a demon god, a “monster” nearly burned alive by villagers, and a bodyguard tasked with keeping watch over the prodigy. The System said he could leave the game once he cleared every route. After countless brushes with death, Kamishiro Yayoi thought it over and decided to try a different approach. And so… [The sacrifice offered up everything he had. The brutal demon god reaped lives without mercy on the battlefield, while the unfamiliar beat of a heart thudded in his chest.] [The monster saved by a sorcerer could not escape his fate after all. Amid a sea of flames, the Star Religious Group leader parted ways with his dear friend.] [The bodyguard, who had watched the prodigy grow up without ever earning his trust, chose to prove his loyalty with his life. From then on, the prodigy descended from his divine throne and kept their promise alone.] After clearing the game and making it home, the first thing Kamishiro Yayoi did was seal off an entire wall of dating sims, then report the trash game for false advertising. Life returned to normal. For once, Kamishiro Yayoi accepted an invitation from an online friend to meet in person, and on the way, he ran into a younger schoolmate from middle school. But… The younger schoolmate nervously scratched his cheek and asked, “Senpai, do you know someone named Sukuna?” Kamishiro Yayoi stared at the slightly familiar cursed markings appearing on the other’s face, along with a six-foot-two white-haired man strolling up behind him and a topknot-wearing cult leader pretending to pass by. With a blank expression, Kamishiro Yayoi replied, “Nope. Never heard of him.” #I jumped the gun. I reported it too soon.# #This trash game doesn't even offer customer support.# #Who? Never heard of him. Never met him. Don't know him.# #We. Are. Not. Close.# Content notes: Everyone loves the protagonist + out of character. No pairing decided, open ending. I hope everyone enjoys reading. If it’s not your thing, we can meet again in another book. XOXO. New novel now underway “Will Sukuna Become a Hopeless Romantic?” Blurb: Sukuna found a beautiful bird. Fragile, beautiful, and utterly bedraggled, it cowered at his feet and begged him not to abandon it. On a whim, he decided to keep it by his side. The bird was gentle and obedient, taking care of all the little things around him. It was always showering him with sweet words, softly insisting it would die if he ever left. Gradually, he fell under its spell, even coming to think of it as his wife. Until one day. The timid, fragile wife he knew killed him with his own hands. * Tsukimi Ren was heir to the Tsukimi family, a born prodigy who had always been destined for greatness. Then, without warning, he was cursed, and spent three years bedridden and on the verge of death. To survive, he used the family’s secret art to reverse time and return to the past, doing whatever it took to find a way to stay alive. A thousand years ago, during the Heian period, humans and demons lived side by side, and monsters roamed freely. To reach Kyoto safely, he had no choice but to seek protection from a powerful being. He didn’t care if it was a monster rather than a human. He never expected the monster to see him as its wife. Nor did he expect the way to break the curse he’d been searching for to lie with that very monster. He could only survive by killing him. * Tsukimi Ren planned carefully and kept himself hidden, successfully breaking the curse and returning to the future. He thought they would never meet again in this lifetime, but That man had not only crawled out of hell, but had also managed to find his home. Tsukimi Ren was brought into a domain bristling with blades. The demon god sat on a throne of bones, looking down at him with a calm expression. “Explain.” Hearing this, Tsukimi Ren thought he was done for. His eyes instantly reddened, and he began to put on a show. Reading guide: 1. A very out-of-character, sweet two-person romance (So the big guy’s already dating, huh?) 2.
