You Said Yourself You Wouldn't Die

[Preorder: When Text Messages Start Appearing on My Phone, Blurb Below~]

Yue Jianlian was cursed. To stay alive, he used a secret family technique to reverse time and return to the past, hoping to find a glimmer of hope for himself.

During the Heian period, a thousand years ago, humans and spirits coexisted, while demons and monsters ran rampant.

To reach Kyoto safely, he disguised himself as meek and obedient, attaching himself to a powerful monster and serving him attentively.

He never expected the monster to regard him as his wife. Even less did he expect that the method he had been seeking to break the curse was in the monster's possession.

He could only live if he killed him.

Sukuna picked up a beautiful bird.

Fragile, lovely, and in a wretched state, it crouched humbly at his feet, begging him not to abandon it. On a whim, he decided to keep it by his side.

The bird was meek and obedient, taking care of every little thing around him. It was always showering him with sweet words, softly saying it would die if he left.

Gradually, he was bewitched by it, and even came to regard it as his wife.

Until one day.

His timid, fragile wife killed him with their own hands.

Yue Jianlian successfully broke the curse and returned to the present, a thousand years later. He thought he would never see Sukuna again in this lifetime.

But then...

Not only did Sukuna crawl out of hell, he appeared right in front of him.

Yue Jianlian was taken into a domain. The King of Curses from a thousand years ago, the husband he had betrayed, looked down at him and spoke calmly.

"Explain."

Yue Jianlian's eyes immediately reddened. "You said you wouldn't die."

"You lied to me again."

Not only did he show no remorse or self-reflection, he even turned the tables and blamed Sukuna.

Sukuna was so angry he laughed.

Reader's Guide:

1. A very OOC, sweet little two-person romance (The big guy's already in a relationship, huh?)

2. Lots of headcanon, and it doesn't follow the original timeline. You can enjoy it even if you haven't read the original.

3. If anything makes you uncomfortable while reading, don't force yourself to continue. I'll keep trying to do better next time, but the whole story has already been written, so I can't revise it.

4. The whole story is just under 300,000 characters.

5. A big beauty who talks a load of nonsense and knows how to bend without breaking.jpg

When Text Messages Start Appearing on My Phone

Blurb:

Irue Haruo is a staunch materialist. On his first day joining the investigation division as an outstanding graduate, his worldview was rocked to its core.

It started when strange notifications began appearing on his phone from time to time.

For example:

[Rain at eight in the morning]

[A robbery is taking place at the intersection ahead]

[Someone has planted a time bomb in the gymnasium]

Then, one by one, these things really happened, with greater accuracy than the Mayan prophecy that foretold the end of the world.

The foundations of Irue Haruo's materialism gradually crumbled.

Just as he finally struggled to accept and acknowledge this completely unscientific golden finger, the notifications suddenly went haywire.

His longtime rival, the muscle-brained, curly-haired gorilla who had dismantled countless of his mecha figurines, appeared, and his phone vibrated like crazy every time:

[Today is Valentine's Day]

[The restaurant's couples' meal is half price]

[He wants to ask you out]

Theme: Perseverance brings victory.
