When Bullet Comments Suddenly Appeared on My Phone

Irie Haruki was a steadfast materialist. On his first day joining the Investigation Division as an outstanding graduate, his worldview was violently challenged.

At first, his phone would occasionally flash some inexplicable notifications.

For example:

[Rain at eight this morning]

[A robbery is taking place at the intersection ahead]

[A bomb has been planted in the gymnasium]

Then, one by one, these things really happened, with greater accuracy than the Mayan prophecy that foretold the end of the world.

Irie Haruki's materialist heart slowly crumbled.

Just as he finally struggled to accept and acknowledge this completely unscientific golden finger, the pop-up notifications suddenly went berserk.

Whenever his sworn enemy, the curly-haired gorilla who had brawled with him countless times since childhood, had a head full of muscle and had smashed countless of his mecha figurines, appeared, his phone would vibrate like crazy:

[It's Valentine's Day today]

[The restaurant's couples' set meal is half price]

[He wants to ask you out]
