I Keep Telling You, He's Sickly

Originally titled Raising a Sick and Powerful Tyrant

Synopsis:

In the fifth year of Zhanghe, Li Jian, the Huai'an Prince's trusted aide, was gravely ill and near death.

When the news spread, the entire court was in an uproar

Some said he'd aided a tyrant, murdered his father, and deceived the emperor, so this was his just deserts.

Others, hoping to curry favor with the Huai'an Prince, searched everywhere for renowned physicians.

Even the youngest son of the Marquis of Zhenyuan traveled a thousand miles to take the sick man home and marry him, hoping the wedding would bring good fortune.

In his life, Li Jian kept only two things deeply hidden: his birth, and the feelings he'd harbored in secret since he was young.

Later, he rose to power and no longer had to endure contempt because of his birth. Yet he continued to guard his profound affection, not daring to reveal even the slightest trace of it. Yun Zhih, the youngest son of the Marquis of Zhenyuan, was brilliant and peerless, while he was merely a sickly man who schemed at every turn and might not live much longer.

He never expected that one day, the other man would state with certainty, "Li Jian, you're in love with me."

Open-minded, perceptive, noble, and skilled in a fight bottom (Yun Zhi) vs. calculating, sickly top (Li Jian)

Happy ending

Upcoming novel: The Crown Prince's Heir Doesn't Want the Country to Fall

A rebellious, calculating crown prince's heir top & a master of intrigue, beautiful fake Taoist bottom

Synopsis:

The day Daoist Jiang entered the palace, he wore an old robe washed until it had faded white. With his cold, immortal-like face and his remarkable skill at saving the Third Prince's life, he looked like an otherworldly sage untouched by worldly concerns.

No one expected this "sage" to smash the alchemy furnace of the Heavenly Master next door just a few days later.

After that, he became even more outrageous: taking charge of the Imperial Medical Office, occupying the Noble Consort's chambers, and emptying the emperor's treasured pills

He even climbed into the Crown Prince's heir's bed.

Yan Yinzhi had always hated Taoists, but Daoist Jiang was simply too beautiful.

What began as a mutually understood arrangement of convenience, with just a touch of desire at first sight,

slowly became genuine affection after they spent their days and nights together, grew to understand one another, and survived countless brushes with death.

Later, the borderlands came under attack. Yan Yinzhi had finally purged the court and taken control of the government, but had no choice but to personally lead an army north.

Through fierce battles and countless hardships, the only thing that kept him going was the thought of returning home soon to reunite with the man he loved.

But on the eve of his victory, he received a secret letter saying the capital had fallen into chaos, and that a demonic Taoist had seized control of the palace and was plotting rebellion.

The letter was written by the very demonic Taoist who planned to rebel.

Younger top, one-on-one, happy ending

Reader's guide:

1. This is still a fictional setting, with a little political intrigue, but not much.

2. To avoid spoilers, this synopsis is a bit rough and doesn't cover the entire plot.

3. The characters aren't perfect. That doesn't mean the author's values are flawed.

4. I'll add more later if anything comes to mind. (#^.^#)

Theme: Treasure the present.
