Blurb:

All the yao know that Yazi Zhou Lin is hot-tempered, loves a fight, and never shows his true form.

One rainy night, Zhou Lin accidentally wandered into the home of a little yao. He later discovered that this clueless little yao had drawn him as a drenched stray dog.

There was even a caption beside it: Drenched stray dog yao (?), species unknown, name unknown, personality (crossed out) not very likable.

The Bai Ze Atlas, which recorded all the world's spirits and yao, vanished along with the auspicious beast Bai Ze a thousand years ago.

Bu Heng, a young yao raised among humans in the modern age, had been determined since childhood to redraw the Bai Ze Atlas.

To make his dream come true, he studied under famous artists and practiced his drawing skills. Yet after graduating from university, he became a graphic designer who worked nine to six, with overtime as part of the job.

As for the atlas, he had only updated a few pages, including ones about his father, his childhood friend, and his childhood friend's father...

Then, one rainy night, a fearsome great yao, soaked to the skin, barged into his home. At last, the atlas he'd put aside for years had a new subject.

Much later, Zhou Lin opened Bu Heng's atlas again and found a mighty, imposing beast on one of its pages. Beneath it was a line of tiny text:

Yazi Zhou Lin: hot-tempered, loves a fight, and indeed not very likable, but Bu Heng likes him.

Hot-tempered, vengeful, sharp-tongued and in denial Yazi gong x seemingly proper, occasionally snarky little yao shou

1v1, happy ending. Updates every night before bed after the relationship begins. Will take time off for special circumstances.

On the day he entered the palace, Daoist Jiang wore an old robe faded from countless washes. With his cool, ethereal beauty and superb medical skills, which had saved the Third Prince, he seemed like an immortal who had left the mortal world behind.

No one expected this "immortal" to smash the alchemy furnace of the Celestial Master Zhang next door just a few days later.

After that, he became even more reckless: taking charge of the Imperial Medical Office, occupying the Noble Consort's chambers, and emptying the emperor's treasured pills...

He even climbed into the bed of the Crown Prince's heir.

Yan Yinzhi had always hated Taoists, but Daoist Jiang was simply too good-looking.

What began as a mutually understood arrangement of convenience, with just a little lust at first sight,

turned into a bond forged by spending every day together and surviving countless brushes with death. Before long, a rare bit of true feeling had taken root.

Later, when the border was under threat, Yan Yinzhi, who had finally purged the court and taken control of the government, had no choice but to lead the army north himself.

Through fierce battles and untold hardships, the one thought that kept him going was returning home as soon as possible to reunite with the one he loved.

But on the eve of victory, he received a secret letter saying that the capital had fallen into chaos, and a demonic Taoist had seized control of the palace and planned to rebel.

The letter had been written by the very Taoist who planned to rebel.

Reader's guide:

1. Still set in a fictional world. There's a little political intrigue, but not much.

2. To avoid spoilers, this blurb is the best I could manage. It doesn't cover the entire plot.

3. The characters aren't perfect. Their personalities don't represent the author's values.

4. I'll add more if I think of anything else. (#^.^#)
