A black kitten, three months old, with soft little paws. Help, I've turned into a cat! This is so exciting! Xun Miao rolls around on the ground, getting grass stuck all over him. His female owner sees him and turns to yell, "Fang Bubai! Your cat's frolicking in the grass again! I told you not to put a lawn in the yard! Just look, just look!" The male owner peeks out. "Aw, but Xun Meow likes it! And didn't you spend three days picking out the grass yourself?" Their child happens to be on vacation and comes running over, catching Xun Miao. "I'll do it! I'll give him a bath!" Inspired by various videos online: rural life, cats and dogs becoming sentient, people moving from the city back to the countryside to renovate their old homes, and so on. There's no direct inspiration. The general layout of the yard in the story is based on my hometown and my friend's hometown, mixed together and made up as I went. I have a cat, and his behavior is based on my cat. Cats are all pretty much the same. I wrote this to heal myself. Thank you for liking it. 1. Male lead, no CP, no romance. It's just a story about him turning into a cat and living with a family. 2. A slice-of-life story. It might ramble, and I might just write whatever comes to mind. 3. The cat can be mischievous and cause trouble, but who can blame him? Xun Meow is adorable. 4. He won't turn back into a human in the main story, but I'll probably write an extra chapter where he does. Theme: Stay calm and face things openly. Wherever your heart is at peace is where you belong.
