My Little Junior Sister Is Sweet on the Outside, Dark on the Inside

My neighboring serial, "How Could I Not Love You [Marriage and Romance]," is launching~ Feel free to visit the [Girls' Love] section by scrolling down my profile. The blurb is below.

Blurb:

Wei Jingyun once thought that her junior sister, pure and immaculate as a celestial being, might seem cool and distant in public, but was actually sweet, adorable, quiet, and graceful in private.

But later, her junior sister deliberately stole Wei Jingyun's betrothed, then took the life-bound sword Wei Jingyun had chosen for her and used it to kill their master and slaughter the sect. She eventually fell into demonic cultivation, becoming a demon cultivator. At Broken Soul Peak, she stabbed Wei Jingyun with it, then abducted and imprisoned her.

Later, when the righteous sects besieged Jin Wang, she fought them for three months despite her injuries, but was ultimately defeated. As she lay dying, her junior sister held and kissed her, then drove a life-bound sword through them both.

"Senior Sister, comfort me. Come with me on the road to the underworld."

But when Wei Jingyun opened her eyes again, she had returned to her previous life.

That year, Jin Wang was only fifteen or sixteen, and had been her master's disciple for just two years.

Slender and beautiful, Jin Wang came before her, lifting her eyes with admiration and hope. Her dark eyes brimmed with emotion.

She threw herself into Wei Jingyun's arms and called her "Senior Sister" again and again, so sweet and obedient.

Yet her eyes held a love that would never fade.

*

Beautiful, sweet-on-the-outside, dark-on-the-inside, carnivorous-flower junior sister who might be a little crazy (top) x gentle, easygoing, world-weary, and laid-back senior sister (bottom)

Probably a series with dual rebirth, low magic, an alternate setting, and whatever else I feel like making up.

Written for practice, just for fun. Also, I think it's a sweet story, so don't be misled by the blurb about their past life. If the first chapter's style isn't for you, feel free to skip straight to chapter two. orz

There may be differences in timelines, ages, or plot details between the main story and the blurb. The main story takes precedence.

"How Could I Not Love You [Marriage and Romance]"

Blurb:

The Gu and Jiang family patriarchs once shared a bond forged through life and death. After the Jiang patriarch passed away, the Gu patriarch took pity on his granddaughter, who had no one to care for her, and decided that Gu Ningxi should marry Jiang Zhi and bring her home to look after her.

Gu Ningxi didn't dislike Jiang Zhi, and didn't want her grandfather to worry or be upset, so she married her.

Gu Ningxi was gentle, considerate, attentive, and protective toward Jiang Zhi, doing everything a spouse should do in a marriage.

She also looked after Jiang Zhi's feelings, telling her, "Now that you've joined the Gu family, we're one family. Don't worry, I won't do anything you don't like. You can think of me as your closest family, your older sister. We can be family who support each other."

But she had no romantic feelings for Jiang Zhi, and knew she shouldn't make a move on a girl so young.

Once Jiang Zhi became strong, Gu Ningxi would respect her choice, whether she wanted to stay or leave.

-

Jiang Zhi gradually fell in love with Gu Ningxi, but Gu Ningxi didn't love her. She only looked after her like a little girl from next door, without the slightest hint of romance.

Jiang Zhi thought her secret love would continue until Gu Ningxi could no longer stand it, or met her true love and chose to end their engagement.

Later, Jiang Zhi mistakenly thought Gu Ningxi had really fallen for someone else. Without thinking, she ran to a bar to drown her sorrows, even considering letting herself go wild for once.

But before the drunken Jiang Zhi could make a move, Gu Ningxi grabbed her wrist and led her into the hallway.

In the dim light, Gu Ningxi fought to contain her emotions and asked in a low voice, "What are you planning to do? Little girl, are you ready to become a woman?"

Under the influence of alcohol, Jiang Zhi started crying, complaining between sobs, "Anyway, anyway, you don't love me, so why do you care what I do?"

Gu Ningxi sighed and kissed her. "How could I not love you?"

Perhaps she had fallen in love from the very beginning. Otherwise, why would she have agreed to this marriage, cared for you so tenderly, and eventually given you her whole heart?

Theme: Reborn, they resolve the misunderstandings of the past and walk hand in hand into the future.
