My Ex-Wives Are So Charming

After calling a cleaner to tidy the house, Chi Qingyuan changes her clothes and heads straight to the salon to see the familiar stylist Tony. She gets a shaggy mullet, dyes her hair smoky blue, and puts on the earrings that have been gathering dust.

Then, on the third day after their divorce, they run into each other at Lemon Bar.

Pei Ning looks at Chi Qingyuan's new outfit, hairstyle, and hair color. After her initial shock, she smiles faintly. “May I ask if you're the dignified and steady Ms. Chi?”

Chi Qingyuan looks at the many different women gathered around Pei Ning. After a brief pause, she raises an eyebrow. “May I ask if you're the gentle and virtuous Ms. Pei?”

They look into each other's eyes, both captivated by the other's appearance, and surprised and intrigued to realize they need to update their impressions of one another.

Pei Ning glances at the silver earring in Chi Qingyuan's ear and the cool steel chain around her neck, then can't help licking her lips. “It's too crowded here. How about we find somewhere else to talk?”

Chi Qingyuan looks at Pei Ning's newly permed, loose French waves and the modern qipao that accentuates her curves. Smiling, she nods. “Sounds good.”

And so, after their divorce, they have sex for the first time as wives.

Then they do it a second time, and a third.

Pei Ning thinks about Chi Qingyuan and feels her heart flutter.

Chi Qingyuan thinks about Pei Ning and feels tempted.

So one day, the two of them consider getting married again.
