Blurb: (I haven't decided yet whether this will be Jujutsu Kaisen alone or a crossover; there may be minor changes later.)
When she was in middle school, Kazuna had a dream: she wanted to become a perfect girl whom everyone approved of and loved.
So whenever she was around other people, she always put on the image of a perfect girl: sunny, cheerful, gentle, friendly, confident, generous... in short, someone with no flaws.
No one knew that she secretly rolled her eyes and complained about everyone in her head. She was nothing like the nice person she seemed to be.
The new transfer student, Okkotsu, was handsome but always timid, and was bullied from time to time.
Kazuna managed to get close to him and save him, becoming his closest friend.
Seeing his grateful, admiring expression, Kazuna pretended to be calm while secretly enjoying it.
But the truth was that she didn't like Okkotsu at all.
She hated his gloomy gaze, hated the way he always hunched his shoulders, hated his supposedly well-hidden but obvious gaze of affection, and hated the unknown ghostly thing by his side.
But Kazuna had to be a perfect girl, so she never showed it.
Then one day, someone made her so angry that she couldn't hold back anymore. She secretly went to a corner to curse them out, and Okkotsu caught her.
He still looked as timid as ever, his big eyes gazing at her with innocent trust.
Kazuna panicked. She absolutely couldn't let her secret get out.
How could she make someone who had nothing to do with her keep a secret?
That's it. If they became lovers, he could keep it, right?
So Kazuna took his hand and smiled at him. “Let's date, Okkotsu.”
He agreed. He also agreed to keep her secret.
What an idiot.
A few months into their relationship, Okkotsu transferred schools after becoming a jujutsu sorcerer, and Kazuna was finally free of him.
When he awkwardly told her that he would still love and miss her even after they separated, and begged her not to break up with him, Kazuna smiled and told him the whole truth.
“Sorry, but our relationship was a lie. I was only pretending to date you so you would help me keep my secret, Okkotsu.”
She could finally be free.
His expression looked even more idiotic.
Kazuna had thought that would be the end of it, and that they would never have a chance to meet again.
But one day, she was attacked by a monster called a cursed spirit. As she panicked and stumbled around, Okkotsu, carrying a long sword, rescued her.
He wore a white uniform, with his bangs hanging down and dark circles under his eyes. His large, lifeless eyes fixed on her, like a monster from a horror movie. It looked as if he might eat her hands and feet at any moment. He was terrifying.
Okkotsu walked up to her and said softly, “You don't want other people to find out about your persona and your secret, do you, Kazuna?”
He leaned down, bringing his lips to her ear.
“Then keep dating me.”

"Content warnings"
1. Yuta pairing! Yuta/Rika is broken up!
2. The blurb explains everything in detail, including the potential triggers. Please take note! There are plenty of good stories out there, so if this isn't for you, just leave.
3. OOC warning. With this version of Okkotsu, he'll definitely be OOC.
4. The heroine's characterization is as described in the blurb. Please don't be harsh. If it's not your thing, leave in time.
5. Would anyone believe me if I said this is fundamentally a sweet story about healing...? ovo It's okay if you don't believe me! The sweetness is Schrodinger's.
6. OOC, OOC, OOC (important enough to say three times). I'm not jjxx, so I can't reproduce the characters perfectly. Their actions and reasoning are based on the original work plus [this story's plot]. I'll do my best to stay faithful, but I can't truly reproduce them. My own interpretations will inevitably be included in the writing ovo. If we interpret them differently, there's no need to force agreement, and certainly no need to insist that I write them as you imagine o3o Thanks! (bows three times) (So I'll delete comments like that. I hope you understand.)
