Blurb:
Songyu Aili unboxed an immersive full-dive romance game and eagerly started playing. The good news was that she unlocked the [Money] attribute. The bad news was that she got the [Negative Affection] debuff.
Aili: ...
Brave players aren't afraid of a challenge!
The first playthrough loaded a story set ten years in the past at Jujutsu High. Aili's character was engaged to the Six Eyes prodigy of the Gojo clan.
She'd thought that being his fiancée would offset the [Negative Affection] debuff, but instead the two compounded each other. And since her character was his fiancée, her romance routes were restricted, making her path to winning him over full of obstacles.
At first.
Six Eyes Prodigy: Fiancée? Like hell I need one of those. Tell your family what's going on, then call off this engagement. (Affection: -30)
Cursed Spirit User: Sorry, you'll have to figure out how to get close to Satoru yourself. I can't convince him to change his mind, either. (Affection: -10)
Later.
Six Eyes Prodigy: Aili~ When are we going to register our marriage? I really, really want to get married soon. Why don't we have the engagement ceremony first? (Affection: 100)
Cursed Spirit User: Satoru still has the mind of a child, so sometimes he acts out and hurts people. Dating him is exhausting. So... have you considered choosing someone else? (Affection: 100)
In the end, Aili suffered severe injuries during a cursed spirit incident in her first playthrough and had to abandon her character. Before she could choose someone and lock in a romance ending, she was forced into a bad ending.
As she lay dying, her romance targets went mad trying to use a curse to keep her there, truly proving that love is the most twisted curse of all. But Aili had already dusted herself off and moved on to the next playthrough.
The second playthrough took place ten years after the first. Aili wasn't very interested in characters she'd already won over, and the new playthrough meant new data, so they were new characters anyway. She chose to target her classmates instead.
For some reason, though, the white-haired teacher and the black-haired cult leader who had defected seemed to have some kind of affection bonus toward her. Aili hadn't even tried to win them over, yet their affection levels were skyrocketing.
The second playthrough was going smoothly, too, but the adult characters' interference kept Aili from choosing a romance ending. In the end, the Prison Realm incident gave her another bad ending.
Third playthrough, alternate worldline 1: Head of the Gojo Clan Satoru.
Fourth playthrough, alternate worldline 2: Curse User Satoru and Teacher Geto.
Finally tired of the game, Aili put it away and planned to focus on preparing for her entrance exams. Then she discovered that her world had become different from the game...
What was going on? The characters she'd won over had come to the real world? Danger!
Concept saved on July 8, 2023; revised November 4 (there were skits before, too, but the blurb was already too long, so I left them out).
#Reading Guide#
1. Jujutsu Kaisen will definitely be included. I'm not sure about the Punggol skits yet, and may change my mind later. I haven't decided whether to add a third world, either. Still mulling it over.
2. The blurb only includes a skit with the high school boys, qwq. If I come up with more (crossed out) I'll add them here. Otherwise, they'll go in the main story.
3. Other characters have one-sided feelings for the heroine. The pairing will only be decided in the ending or an extra, and it may also stay one-sided with no pairing. Anything is possible.
4. There will be different timelines in the same world. Characters' memories will be reset at the start, and it may eventually become a series of playthroughs in parallel worlds, or they may remember their past lives.
5. Whether I write all the playthrough worlds depends on how things go and how inspired I feel. I may not include them all.
Theme: Even if you encounter difficulties from the start, face them bravely and overcome them.
