Officer Matsuda Can Do Anything

When the Ferris wheel exploded, Officer Matsuda was thinking that he wanted to see his childhood friend one more time.

So when the World Consciousness told him that the world was actually a manga, and a badly ended one at that, and promised to resurrect Hagiwara as long as the manga was finished without any major plot holes, he silently accepted. He rebuilt his worldview and got down to the serious business of working under the table.

After learning the truth about the world, Officer Matsuda got a new job as a manga artist. He wasn't good at writing plots or reading people's minds, but fortunately, manga could be used to predict the future. He could use it to check whether the plots he set up made sense, through countless rounds of trial and error.

As a result, things gradually went off track. Matsuda discovered that, in the original manga, his fellow recruits would suffer one misfortune after another and die young.

He gave a cold laugh. Just wait until you die of old age, you bunch of bastards.

After all, Officer Matsuda could do anything.

Rumors were spreading throughout the Organization.

"Soto's a lunatic. He doesn't care if he lives or dies, and he'll do anything to achieve his goals." Vodka shuddered, lost in terrifying memories of going on missions with Soto.
