[Possessive, aggressive, lovesick rich hottie × confident, poor, pretty country boy]
Cheng Zhiyu is a bookish country boy with an overinflated opinion of himself.
He made it out of a remote backwater and into one of the country's top universities, becoming the pride of his county town. Everyone envied his blind mother for raising such a good son, and figured she would be able to enjoy the good life from now on.
The very first second he set foot in City A, Cheng Zhiyu made up his mind: He would work hard, buy a home in this ridiculously expensive city, become someone important, marry a rich, beautiful wife, and bring his whole family here to live well.
On his first day of school, everyone said Cheng Zhiyu had hit the jackpot.
His roommate was actually the son of City A's richest man. Sure, he could be a little moody, but that was just a common problem among the heaven-blessed elite. Cheng Zhiyu only had to put up with it, and his future would be limitless.
When he heard that one meal for his roommate cost as much as his family spent in an entire year, Cheng Zhiyu rolled his eyes and said disdainfully, “I hate rich second-generation kids who live off their families. What's so great about spoiled brats like him? I would never be friends with him!”
His classmates exchanged glances, not daring to respond.
But after seeing Gao Xingchuan's wealth with his own eyes, Cheng Zhiyu's resolve wavered.
He widened his eyes. Money was one thing, but connections really were a scarce resource. More friends meant more options. If he befriended Gao Xingchuan, wouldn't he be able to save himself twenty years of hard work?
And so, he changed his mind without a second thought. He was going to be friends with Gao Xingchuan!
But he wasn't going to suck up to him, and he didn't think he was beneath him. After all, he firmly believed he was destined for greatness, and besides... he was so good-looking. How could Gao Xingchuan possibly turn him down?
In other people's eyes, Gao Xingchuan was one of the heaven-blessed elite. Anything he wanted was his for the taking.
But he had a problem that had tormented him for a long time: he suffered from skin hunger, along with severe mysophobia.
Gao Xingchuan was at his wits' end.
Day and night, he was tormented by an emptiness that felt like a thousand ants gnawing at him. The scent of strangers made him nauseous, and when his condition flared up, his mental state became extremely unstable.
On his first day of school, when he saw his country-bumpkin roommate put a filthy, bulky old bag on his bed, he strode over with a dark expression and grabbed the bumpkin by the collar, barely able to restrain his violent urges.
The bumpkin turned around in confusion, revealing a fair, delicate, and beautiful face. His unfashionable clothes did nothing to diminish his looks. Instead, they somehow gave him a uniquely innocent air that made people's hearts itch.
Gao Xingchuan had no idea what brand of detergent the bumpkin used, but he smelled so good that Gao Xingchuan's eyes immediately went red.
With Cheng Zhiyu still gripped by the collar, he looked at Gao Xingchuan in confusion and said gently, “Hi. I made your bed for you. No need to thank me.”
He thought to himself, City people sure have a strange way of saying hello.
Gao Xingchuan gritted his teeth and froze in place.
Deep down, Gao Xingchuan looked down on this country bumpkin who pretended to be above it all. But to his despair, he discovered that Cheng Zhiyu was the only person whose closeness he could tolerate.
Whenever Cheng Zhiyu showed up, Gao Xingchuan's gaze would cling to him, as if bewitched.
Even when the bumpkin accidentally showed a bit of skin, Gao Xingchuan wanted to lick it and find out what it tasted like.
Gao Xingchuan struggled to hold back. His pride would never let him lick a country bumpkin who was so obsessed with money and status.
But the bumpkin was always right there in front of him. Gao Xingchuan was driven to distraction, and when his condition flared up, every last shred of pride vanished.
Cheng Zhiyu invited him to the cafeteria for a ten-yuan all-you-can-pick meal. Gao Xingchuan gritted his teeth and ate it.
Then he treated Cheng Zhiyu to a lavish meal in return.
Cheng Zhiyu wore cheap old-man underwear, three pairs for ten yuan, but gritted his teeth and bought Gao Xingchuan a twenty-yuan market-stall knockoff for his birthday.
Gao Xingchuan's temple throbbed as he said thank you. Then he turned around and bought Cheng Zhiyu an entire store's worth of designer clothes.
The little country bumpkin had an incredible sense of entitlement. He accepted whatever Gao Xingchuan gave him with a happy smile, taking it all as his due.
Gao Xingchuan was so angry he almost laughed.
The bumpkin was so foolish, he believed everything Gao Xingchuan told him.
Gao Xingchuan gave him money in exchange for cuddles and hugs that eased his skin hunger, and Cheng Zhiyu even thanked him.
Cheng Zhiyu was spoiled until he grew more and more beautiful. With excellent grades and expensive clothes, he seemed destined to become the CEO of a publicly traded company and marry a rich beauty in no time.
...Wait. Something felt off to Cheng Zhiyu. “Bro, why are you getting into my bed?”
Gao Xingchuan held him and soothed him. “I'm a little cold.”
Cheng Zhiyu said, “Oh,” then asked a little later, “Bro, why are you taking my clothes off and touching me?”
Gao Xingchuan calmly replied, “This is how we city people do things, baby.”
Cheng Zhiyu blushed and fell silent. A little while later, he began to sob softly. “Wait... Bro, why are you inside me???”
Where there's a will, there's a way. Cheng Zhiyu really did become someone great and give his family a good life.
But... why was he the rich beauty getting married?!
Reading Guide:
1. Both are each other's first and only.
2. The bottom isn't actually a gold-digger. He's just incredibly confident and thinks he deserves everything he gets. (Hands on hips.)
3. The top is a character in his own right. At first he thinks his husband looks like a country bumpkin, but he's desperate to lick him anyway.
4. The bottom is simple and naturally clueless. He thinks all abnormal cuddling is just a trendy city-person thing, and he's very much a straight dude in personality.
5. Two oddballs fall in love. They have plenty of flaws, but they're made for each other (?). Neither lead is perfect, so please think twice if you have high moral standards for protagonists! Please don't insult my two precious babies, okay? T T

Blurb:
#The aloof childhood friend gets remade into a devoted wife-lover and a perfect husband
Jiang Keyu has a boyfriend who loves him very much.
Bai Yue is a top-tier Enigma, and Jiang Keyu is his fated partner, with a 100% pheromone match.
Bai Yue does his laundry and cooks for him when he's busy. He even feeds him by hand, trims his nails, massages him when he's tired, peels shrimp and cuts fruit for him, and patiently explains difficult problems in his field...
But everything changed after Jiang Keyu had a minor accident!
Bai Yue not only started giving him the cold shoulder, but also made him shower by himself.
And even though they had agreed to try for a baby, Bai Yue wouldn't even sleep with him anymore!
Jiang Keyu had no idea what he'd done wrong. He cried as he talked with Doubao, his AI assistant, all night.
Doubao said, “Let me tell you in the most straightforward, objective, no-nonsense way possible: you're being too difficult! A healthy relationship goes both ways. One person can't be the only one putting in the effort. If this goes on, your partner is bound to grow exhausted and discouraged.”
Jiang Keyu wiped away his tears. So his husband was tired of him.
No matter. Now it was his turn to win his husband back. They were fated partners, after all. How could they possibly drift apart so easily?
He tried his hand at housework, but when he picked up his boyfriend's suit jacket, he caught the scent of an unfamiliar omega.
Jiang Keyu's world came crashing down.
That bastard Bai Yue had a perfect omega like him and still went out to cheat!
Jiang Keyu wept prettily and slapped Bai Yue hard across his handsome face, demanding an explanation.
Jiang Keyu: “Tell me! Who's the homewrecker?!”
Bai Yue: “?”
Jiang Keyu broke down. “Stop pretending! I can smell another omega's pheromones on you!”
Bai Yue: “...That's a new perfume I bought.”
Jiang Keyu's heart shattered. Even with the truth staring him in the face, that bastard refused to admit it. He even said Jiang Keyu's brain was broken and that he should see a doctor.
He cried again. “Then why do you say you're tired every night and pretend to be asleep? Why won't you make a baby with me?”
A vein bulged at Bai Yue's temple. “...We're both men. How exactly are we supposed to have a baby?”
Jiang Keyu wouldn't listen. “Don't lie to me. If you've fallen out of love, just say so! There are no omegas who can't get pregnant, only husbands who don't go deep enough!”
Bai Yue was so angry he laughed.
Bai Yue and his childhood friend Jiang Keyu were sworn enemies.
From childhood to adulthood, that lazy bum made him do his laundry, write his homework, feed him, and take the blame for his mistakes. For twenty years, the two of them had been locked in a constant battle.
But, unfortunately, there was an annoying childhood engagement between him and Jiang Keyu.
The Bai and Jiang families had been close for generations. Bai Yue and Jiang Keyu were betrothed before they were even born.
After Jiang Keyu's vehement protests, his mother finally gave in. She promised that if he still didn't want the marriage, they could announce its cancellation at their twentieth birthday party. After that, they would be nothing more than brothers.
But the day before Jiang Keyu's twentieth birthday, he was in a minor car accident.
The birthday party was postponed, and Bai Yue went to visit him.
His childhood friend's mouth had always been sharp enough to count as a weapon. But now, the moment he saw Bai Yue, his eyes turned red and he called him “husband” in a sugary voice.
He even said he was Bai Yue's omega.
To avoid upsetting Jiang Keyu, and under pressure from both the Jiang and Bai families, Bai Yue had no choice but to move in with him temporarily and play along with his little role-playing game.
Jiang Keyu wore a skimpy outfit, his long pale legs crossed as he blushed. “Husband, come over and rub my legs.”
Bai Yue: “...”
He pretended not to understand the hint, made an excuse about being tired from work, then went to the spare bedroom and pretended to sleep.
But in the middle of the night, Jiang Keyu climbed on top of him. When Bai Yue refused, he cried and sobbed that he'd married the wrong man and would be a young widower for the rest of his life.
Bai Yue: “...”
Bai Yue endured it all and lost his virginity.
He kissed him, hugged him, let him ride him, and gave him money. He gave him everything, but the spoiled, difficult little drama queen still wouldn't stop. He even barged into Bai Yue's company to accuse him of cheating, saying he had someone on the side and that the reason they couldn't have a baby was because Bai Yue wasn't trying hard enough and was always halfhearted about it.
Bai Yue laughed in exasperation and nodded coldly. “Fine. You want a baby, right?”
That night.
Jiang Keyu hugged a pillow and cried his heart out. His beautiful, peach-blossom eyes had gone unfocused, and his chattering mouth could no longer find fault with anything. All he could do was pitifully call out for his husband.
Bai Yue chuckled, his voice low and husky. “Is that deep enough now, baby?”
